Location

Mondays/Fridays: Departure from Germany to Bangkok.
Day 1 (Tuesday/Saturday) BANGKOK:
Arrival in Bangkok and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Suggested program:
E.g., a Thonburi tour, riding a "long-tail boat" through the klongs, or visiting Wat Arun, a Buddhist temple. (Excursions are not included in the tour price).
Overnight stay at Tai-Pan Hotel Bangkok or similar.
Day 2 (Wednesday/Sunday) BANGKOK-CHIANG MAI:
This day is at your leisure (check-out at 12:00 PM).
Suggested program:
- Get to know the highlights of Bangkok during a half-day city tour, e.g., the city's three most interesting temples (Wat Traimit, Wat Po, Wat Phra Kaew) as well as the Grand Palace.
- Ride a "long-tail boat" through the klongs and visit the Damnoen Saduk Floating Market and the Rom Hub Market (Excursions are not included in the tour price).
Day 3 (Thursday/Monday) CHIANG MAI:
Arrival at approx. 7:15 AM in Chiang Mai, followed by a transfer to the overnight hotel Ibis Styles Chiang Mai or similar for breakfast (check-in from 2:00 PM).
The highlight of the day is the mountain temple Doi Suthep, which can be reached via 306 steps or by funicular. In clear weather, it offers a panoramic view over the city and the surrounding area. Return to the hotel in the afternoon.
At the end of the day, a local market is visited before the transfer back to the hotel. Optionally, dinner can be booked at the Riverside Bar & Restaurant for an additional fee.

Day 4 (Friday/Tuesday) CHIANG MAI:
This day is at your leisure. Overnight stay at Ibis Styles Chiang Mai or similar.
Day 5 (Saturday/Wednesday) CHIANG MAI-LAMPANG-PHITSAMULOK:
Today we head south to Lampang, home to another beautiful emerald temple, Wat Phra Dhat Lampang Luang. After lunch, the journey continues to Sukhothai, where a walk through the historical park is planned. It is characterized by extraordinary temples and monuments with impressive sculptures and artistic stucco work.
Located west of the old town, Wat Sri Chum is explored, which houses a seated, approximately 15 m high Buddha statue. Afterward, continue to Phitsanulok and overnight stay at The Imperial Hotel and Convention Center Phitsanulok or similar.
Day 6 (Sunday/Thursday) PHITSANULOK-AYUTTHAYA-BANGKOK:
After breakfast, visit the temple complex Wat Maha Dhat with its significant Buddha statue, cast in the 13th century.
Afterward, return to Bangkok airport (arrival approx. 5:00 PM) and begin your connecting program or return flight to Germany.
