Location

This beautiful resort is located at the edge of Khao Lak National Park, set on a slope (due to the hillside location, many areas on the property are connected by stairs) directly on the beautiful, quiet sandy beach of Khao Lak. The town center of Khao Lak is approximately a 10-minute drive away. The transfer time from Phuket Airport is about 60 minutes.

Facilities

The well-maintained and attractive Thai-style hotel is set amidst an expansive tropical garden and consists of 236 rooms in total. The 2 to 3-story buildings are grouped around 4 pool landscapes within the garden and can be reached via wooden bridges and arcades. Within the complex, there is a spa pool, a separate children's pool, and an outdoor freshwater pool. Sun loungers and parasols are available free of charge. A restaurant and several bars are among the facilities available for your dining pleasure.

Superior Double Room

The superior rooms are modernly furnished with a shower, bathtub, toilet, hairdryer, telephone, air conditioning, minibar, coffee/tea maker, safe, satellite TV, and a balcony or terrace facing the garden (DSU).
Available for single use at an extra charge (DEU).

Deluxe Double Room

With the same amenities as the Superior double rooms, these rooms feature a shower and a separate bathtub (DD2).
Available for single use at an extra charge (DD1).

Double Waterfall Pool Access

With the same amenities as the Deluxe rooms, these are more spacious and offer direct access to the pool (OAD).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present a potential safety risk for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booked in these room types.
