Location

The Melia Sunny Beach hotel, popular with regular German guests, is ideally and centrally located, just approx. 100 m from the fine, gently sloping public sandy beach. A private beach section (for Melia hotel guests only) is located approx. 250 m from the hotel (June to mid-September). Numerous restaurants, shopping, and entertainment venues are in the immediate vicinity. The transfer from Burgas airport to the hotel takes approx. 40 minutes (approx. 30 km).

The sprawling hotel complex, under the new management of the renowned Sol Melia chain, consists of 3 building wings with a total of 1025 rooms spread over 8 and 9 floors, offering many additional facilities and amenities. Each block has its own lobby with a reception area, currency exchange service (in blocks A and B), lobby bar, elevators, and its own buffet restaurant (subject to season and occupancy). Here you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In the high season, there are also frequent themed buffets, such as Bulgarian, Spanish, Italian, or international.
In addition, guests can look forward to the "Ravi" Indian specialty restaurant (open in July & August, Mondays to Fridays from approx. 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.), the "Bot Pot" Chinese restaurant (open in July & August, Wednesdays to Sundays from approx. 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.), and the classic Bavarian beer garden (open in July & August from approx. 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.) with German draft beer, bratwurst, sauerkraut/knuckle of pork, and fried potatoes.
Outside, there is another snack bar, a pizza station (open in July & August), and a Cuban-style Mojito bar (open in July & August).
There are 3 swimming pools (one of which is heated from 15/06 to 15/09) with a mini aqua park (open from 01/06 to 15/09, featuring 3 slides for those at least 1.20 m tall), and 3 children's pools (2 of which have small water slides). A heated indoor pool and an animation stage are available.
Sun loungers, parasols, and pool towels are included at the pool (subject to availability). At the hotel's own beach section (approx. 250 m away), there is the "La Spiaggia" beach bar (open daily from 01/06 to 15/09, approx. 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.). The tastefully furnished double rooms are equipped with bath/WC or shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe (included), telephone, satellite TV, mini-fridge, and a balcony. Accommodation in block A/B or C. Also bookable with side sea view or pool view for an extra charge (these rooms are also located in block A/B or C). Promotional rooms (PDI) with pool view can be booked for specific dates at a special price.

Junior Suite

The junior suites (approx. 47 m²) offer a combined living/bedroom area with 4 beds and a sofa bed, bath/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe (included), telephone, satellite TV, mini-fridge, and a balcony.

Family Room

The family rooms have the same furnishings as the double rooms but feature 2 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Also bookable with pool view for an extra charge.

Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from approx. 10 a.m. – 12 a.m. at the currently open bars. At the Cuban Mojito bar, you can get fresh mojitos from approx. 9 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. (July & August). Please speak to the reception on-site if you have any allergies, such as gluten intolerance.
