Just 40 km from Dresden, nestled in the popular hiking and winter sports region of the spa town Altenberg, the AHORN Waldhotel Altenberg is located in the district of Schellerhau, a state-recognized climatic health resort. Facilities

The hotel has a total of 222 rooms and offers its guests a reception with a lobby bar with SKY TV, a buffet restaurant, the à la carte restaurant "Glück Auf" with regional and national culinary delights, and a summer terrace with a beer garden (seasonally open). The spacious outdoor area tempts with a heated outdoor pool (12x6 m, seasonally open) and a large sunbathing lawn in summer.

Double room

The modern double rooms (D, approx. 17-19 m²) are equipped with a double bed and feature a 49-inch TV including radio, telephone, safe, free Wi-Fi, shower/WC, hairdryer, and a wonderful valley view (without balcony).

Single room

The rooms (E) have a TV, telephone, safe, shower/WC, and hairdryer. The rooms consist of a sleeping area with a single bed. The average room size is approx. 16 m².

Double room Type A

The double rooms Type A (DA, approx. 18-21 m²) have the same amenities as the double rooms, but some offer a wonderful mountain view (without balcony).

Family room

The family accommodation (DF2, approx. 34 m²) consists of two double rooms next to each other (without connecting door) or opposite each other.
