Location

Restored based on historical models, the Elbresidenz—known as the pearl of Saxon Switzerland—is located directly on the Elbe, surrounded by the beautiful and unique Elbe Sandstone Mountains. The market square of Bad Schandau is within walking distance. Located directly at the hotel is a landing stage for the "Saxon Steamship Company," an ideal starting point for a romantic cruise on the Elbe. Further excursion destinations are in the vicinity, such as the Botanical Garden and the Saxon Switzerland National Park Centre. Those wishing to explore the surroundings by bicycle can use the Elbe Cycle Route, which runs directly past the hotel, among other places. The train station is approximately 1.8 km away and the nearest airport is in Dresden (approx. 60 km away).

The bright and stylishly furnished Superior double rooms (DSU, 26-30 m²) with high-quality oak parquet flooring ensure a pleasant, feel-good ambiance and offer a bathroom with a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers provided for the stay, flat-screen TV, telephone, safe, minibar (1 bottle of mineral water free of charge), complimentary Wi-Fi, and an enchanting view of the inner courtyard or the historic market square.

Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe double rooms (DD2, approx. 26-30 m²) are slightly larger than the Superior double rooms and feature the same amenities, with the addition of a desk including writing materials and a balcony with seating.
