Location

The Werrapark Resort Sommerberg is located approximately 5 km from the town center. The nearest attraction (Haus der Natur Goldisthal) is about 15 km away. Another noteworthy attraction (Open-air Museum Kloster Vessra) is about 28 km away. For water lovers, the picturesquely situated Ratscher mountain lake awaits at a distance of approximately 15 km. You can also enjoy a refreshing dip on hot summer days at the public outdoor pool "Terrassebad Schönbrunn", located about 10 km away.
In summer, the accommodation is an ideal starting point for hiking. The Rennsteig region hiking area is located right by the property. You can reach the Thuringian Mountain Railway (Thüringer Bergbahn) in Oberweißbach after approximately 28.5 km.

Facilities

In addition to its 86 accommodation units, the Werrapark Resort Sommerberg (ERFA03) offers an inviting lobby with seating areas and a reception. Let yourself be pampered with culinary delights in the restaurant. After an eventful day, you can wind down in the sociable atmosphere of the hotel bar. Cyclists can use the on-site, lockable bicycle storage room. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.
In addition to the resort, the hotel offers a complex consisting of holiday homes (ERFA05). The 24 holiday homes in the Finnish log cabin style offer guests not only rural charm but also plenty of space and a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. The houses are situated on a sunny mountain slope in the Fehrenbach district.

The traditionally furnished apartments (62 m²) feature satellite TV, telephone, radio, seating area, shower, toilet, and a terrace. The apartments consist of 2 bedrooms, a living-bedroom, and have a kitchen (with stove, coffee machine, refrigerator, dishwasher, and oven). The living-bedroom has a double sofa bed. A double bed is available in the first bedroom. There is also a double bed in the second bedroom.
