Location

Beautifully situated on the charming Sithonia peninsula, approximately 6 km from the pretty town of Neos Marmaras (public bus connection). This well-known and popular property is located below the main road and is about 30 m away from the long sand/pebble beach (awarded with a Blue Flag; a small side road must be crossed). Thessaloniki Airport is approximately 101 km away.

The spacious hotel complex consists of several buildings and features a total of 150 rooms. Facilities in the main building include a 24-hour reception, internet corner, "Votsalo" restaurant with terrace, mini-market, satellite TV room, and a bar. In the garden, there is a swimming pool, a sun terrace, and a pool/snack bar. A tavern is located at the beach. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at the pool and available for a fee at the beach. Wi-Fi is available free of charge.

Deluxe Double Room

The modern and spacious rooms feature a double bed or 2 single beds, shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, LCD satellite TV, refrigerator, safe, electric kettle, and balcony or terrace (DD2).
Also available with side sea view (DDS) or for single use (DD1).

Deluxe Family Room

With otherwise the same features as the double rooms, the Deluxe Family rooms have a shower/WC as well as a balcony or terrace. Children sleep on a sofa bed. The Deluxe Family rooms consist of one room (2DF).

Junior Suite Sea View

With the same features as the Deluxe double rooms, these are more spacious and feature a double bed, a double sofa, balcony, and sea view (J2M).

Junior Suite Deluxe

Featuring the same equipment as the Junior Suite, plus an additional separate bedroom with a queen-size bed, separated by a connecting door from the living area with 2 sofa beds (J2D).

Junior Suite Deluxe Private Pool

These have the same equipment as the Junior Suite Deluxe and feature a private pool (2XX).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased safety risk for small children.
For safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen therefore requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Breakfast 7:30 am–10 am, lunch 12:30 pm–2 pm, and dinner 7 pm–9:30 pm. All meals are served buffet-style in the main restaurant. Guests may optionally choose to have lunch as a set menu in the tavern.
During the day, the pool bar offers various hot and cold coffee specialties and tea such as Frappe, Freddo Espresso, and Cappuccino, as well as ice cream from 11 am to 11 pm.
Snacks (hot and cold sandwiches), cakes, and pastries from 3 pm to 6 pm at the pool bar.
Selected non-alcoholic beverages such as branded soft drinks, water, and juices, as well as local alcoholic beverages (beer, ouzo, wine, gin, vodka, rum, Aperol Spritz) and two cocktails of the day from 11 am to 11 pm.

Sports included

Basketball, fitness room, table tennis at the sister hotel Lagomandra, which is located above the road.

Note on climate resilience tax

For stays starting from Jan 1st, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience tax, which must be paid by the guest on site, comparable to a visitor's tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and, as of Jan 1st, 2025, is staggered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room.
