Note on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01.01.2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience levy, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from 01.01.2025, will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room.
For stays during high season from April 1st to October 31st:
National category 1-2 stars: 2 Euros
National category 3 stars: 5 Euros
National category 4 stars: 10 Euros
National category 5 stars: 15 Euros
For stays during low season from November 1st to March 31st:
National category 1-2 stars: 0.50 Euros
