The Grand Blue Hotel is situated in a beautiful hillside location with breathtaking views of the azure sea and is located in Kardamena, above a small, private sand/pebble beach. Shopping and entertainment options can be found in the immediate vicinity. The village of Kardamena and a bus stop are reachable after approx. 500 m. Kos Airport is approx. 7 km away.

The sprawling, family-friendly resort features 230 bungalow-style rooms and offers a 24-hour reception, a lobby renovated in summer 2025, 3 elevators, an internet corner, complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the resort, 2 buffet restaurants (Greek and international cuisine), 1 à-la-carte restaurant (reservation required), 4 bars, and a mini-market.
The well-maintained grounds feature 3 swimming pools, one of which is for adults only, 2 children's pools, a pool bar, and a sun terrace. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and bath towels are included at the pool and beach.
Admission to the Lido Water Park (open subject to weather conditions from June to September) with a shuttle service from the hotel is included.

Renovated for summer 2025, these rooms feature a bathroom/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, individually adjustable air conditioning, safe, telephone, smart TV, mini-fridge (bottle of water upon arrival), coffee/tea station with refills every two days, kettle, and a balcony or terrace (DSU). Optionally available for single use (DSE/DAE), at an additional cost with sea view (DMU/DMI), or for single use with sea view (DME/AME).

Deluxe Double Room, Sea View, Renovated

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these modernly furnished rooms also feature a Nespresso machine, pillow menu, higher-quality bed linen, and a mini-fridge stocked with soft drinks upon arrival (DDM/MDI).

Comfort Double Room, Renovated

These more spacious comfort double rooms consist of a combined living/sleeping area and a separate bedroom, with otherwise the same amenities as the double rooms (DKO).

Junior Suite, Renovated

These elegant junior suites were renovated in summer 2025 and consist of a combined living/sleeping area and a separate bedroom, with otherwise the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms (JS2/JSI).

Grand Blue Suite, Sea View, Renovated

With the same amenities as the Junior Suite, these feature smart TVs in both the bedroom and living/sleeping area, a Nespresso machine (including refills every two days), and a balcony or terrace with a sea view (J2M). Additionally, guests in this room category receive a free one-day rental car for stays of 5 nights or more, and a mini-fridge stocked with soft drinks upon arrival.

The elegant family suites were renovated for summer 2025 and feature a living room with a sofa bed for children, a separate bedroom, bathroom/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, individually adjustable air conditioning, safe, telephone, smart TV, mini-fridge (bottle of water upon arrival), coffee/tea station with refills every two days, kettle, and a balcony or terrace (2FS).

Breakfast (7:00-10:00), lunch (12:30-14:30), and dinner (18:30-21:30) are offered in the buffet restaurants.
Alternatively, a late-riser breakfast (10:00-11:00) or dinner can be enjoyed in the à-la-carte restaurant (reservation required). A light lunch is offered in the "Azure" restaurant from 12:00-14:00.
Various cold snacks are served from 10:00-17:00, ice cream from 10:00-22:00 at the "Serenity" and "Seabreeze" pool bars, and coffee/tea (various types such as filter coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte macchiato, Greek coffee, Frappé, Freddo Espresso/Cappuccino, etc.) at the pool bar.

Climate Resilience Tax Note

For stays from 1 January 2018, the Greek government introduced a climate resilience tax, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and ranges from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per room per day as of 1 January 2025.
