Location

The Royal Bay Suites is located in Kefalos, directly on the beautiful sand/pebble beach. Some restaurants, bars, and cafes are within walking distance. A bus stop is located in the immediate vicinity of the hotel entrance. The distance to Kos Airport is approx. 14 km.

The hotel has 46 rooms and offers its guests a lobby with a 24-hour reception, luggage room with luggage scale, satellite TV corner, restaurant, and bar. In the hotel's beautiful garden area, you will find the main pool with a sun terrace, as well as a relaxation pool. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pools and on the beach; towels are available at the reception for a deposit. Parking at the hotel is free, subject to availability. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel.

Junior Suite

The spacious junior suites consist of a combined living/sleeping area with comfortable twin beds and a sofa bed, and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, toiletries, individually regulated air conditioning, safe, telephone, satellite TV, mini-fridge, kettle, coffee/tea making facilities (refilled daily, included), and a furnished balcony or terrace (JS2/JSI). Optionally, available at an extra charge with a side sea view (J2S) or sea view (J2M).
Also available for single occupancy (J1A) or single occupancy with sea view (JMA).

Suite

The suites consist of a combined living/sleeping area with a separate bedroom, are more spacious, and in addition to the same amenities as the junior suites, they feature an espresso machine (4 capsules per stay included) and a 42" Smart TV (S2).

Information regarding climate resilience fee

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government charges a climate resilience fee, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day per room starting from 01.01.2025.
For stays in high season from 1 April to 31 October:
National category 1-2 stars: 2 Euros
National category 3 stars: 5 Euros
National category 4 stars: 10 Euros
National category 5 stars: 15 Euros
For stays in low season from 1 November to 31 March:
National category 1-2 stars: 0.50 Euros
National category 3 stars: 1.50 Euros
