Location

Ideally located between Kos Town and the pebble beach, the family-run Hotel Koala is perfect for both beach holidays and city trips. Kos Town, with its numerous shopping and entertainment options, as well as restaurants and bars, is approximately 1 km away. A bus stop (approx. 100m away) provides local transport to explore the city. The airport (KGS) is about 25 km away.

Facilities

The 3-story, 2-star city hotel has 49 rooms. All rooms are well-maintained and equipped with basic amenities for a comfortable stay. It features a 24-hour reception (check-in from 2 PM, check-out until 12 PM), a lobby bar, an elevator, air conditioning, a safe (for a fee), and currency exchange facilities. The hotel also offers a beautiful garden with a large terrace. For food and drinks, there is a breakfast room, a snack bar, and a hotel bar. The roof garden and pool area are wonderful places to enjoy the glorious Suns. Wi-Fi is available to hotel guests free of charge.

Information on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government imposes a climate resilience levy, payable by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from €0.50 to €15 per day per room starting from 01.01.2025.
