Location

The Gaia Royal is located near the fishing village of Mastichari, approximately 10 km from the airport and around 20 km from the port. The sandy/pebble beach can be reached in a few minutes on foot and offers a magnificent view over the Aegean Sea. Regular public bus connections to Kos Town and Mastichari are available, and the nearest bus stop is approximately 700 m away. The friendly and relaxed atmosphere makes the hotel an ideal choice for relaxing vacation days.

The resort is built in a Greek village style and consists of a main building and several two-story bungalows. The entire complex covers 70,000 m² with a total of 311 rooms, beautiful gardens, a reception, lobby and Wi-Fi, satellite TV area, main restaurant with terrace, as well as a mini-market and a souvenir shop. The well-maintained grounds include three swimming pools with complimentary parasols and sun loungers, as well as 2 pool bars. Pool towels are available for a deposit, and an exchange is possible for a small fee. Sun loungers and parasols can be used on the beach for a fee. Parking spaces are available at the hotel.

The double rooms are equipped with a bath or shower and WC, air conditioning, mini-fridge, satellite TV, telephone, safe (included), and a balcony or terrace with garden view (D).

Single Room

These are double rooms for single use (DE/DEA).

Superior Double Room

The renovated superior double rooms feature the same amenities as the double rooms but with a completely renovated bathroom with a walk-in shower (DSU). Also available to book for single use (DAE). Also available as a Superior Comfort Double Room (CU2).
Optionally available with partial sea view (D2S). Also available to book for single use (D1S).

American breakfast buffet from 7:30–10:30 a.m., lunch also in buffet form from 12:30–2:30 p.m., and dinner buffet from 6:30–9:30 p.m. Snacks from 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. (hot and cold snacks) at the pool bar. Drinks from 10:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m. at the bars included (local soft drinks, juices, filter coffee, house wine, draft beer, Ouzo, whiskey, gin, rum, tequila, and vodka). Coffee and tea time every day from 4:00–5:00 p.m. In addition, cake and cookies are served during coffee time. Ice cream is also available from 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

When booking All Inclusive Plus, the following is also included:
A set consisting of one parasol and two sun loungers on the beach, branded bottled beer, refreshments, and instant coffee at the beach bar. Bottled mineral water at the bars. Destination information - Climate resilience fee

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government imposes a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax.
