Deluxe Family Suite

The family suites offer a unique sense of luxury and comfort. The elegantly furnished entrance area leads to a spacious dressing and grooming area, as well as an en-suite marble bathroom with a sink and walk-in shower and a separate WC with a sink.

Deluxe Bungalow Suite

Built in a village style, these bungalow suites are nestled amidst exotic palms and lush Cretan gardens. Consisting of a living area and a separate sleeping area with a king-size bed, they feature air conditioning (individually adjustable), tiled floors, a safe, an espresso machine, coffee/tea facilities, a minibar (for a fee), a telephone, LCD satellite TV, a shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, magnifying mirror, personal scale, and luxury toiletries. Deluxe Bungalow Suite Private Pool

Offers the same facilities and location as the Deluxe Bungalow Suites, plus a private pool (2RN).
The private pool is not monitored by a lifeguard. We ask for prudent behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased safety risk for young children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, schauinsland-reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Caramel Maisonette

These elegant maisonettes are designed with an open split-level layout in a village bungalow style amidst Mediterranean gardens. They are equipped with a king-size bed on the upper level and a single bed/sofa bed in the living/sleeping area on the ground floor. These stylish villas offer two magnificent master suites on one or two levels for more privacy. They feature handmade floor tiles, a master bedroom with a "Simmons" master king-size bed on the first floor with a private veranda, a combined living and sleeping suite on the ground floor with a king-size bed and an optional additional single bed. The units also feature one or two marble spa-style bathrooms, both with one or two sinks and a walk-in shower; in the attic, there is a private open-air hydromassage tub (in selected villas), air conditioning (individually adjustable), a safe, an espresso machine, coffee/tea facilities, a minibar (for a fee), a telephone, LCD TV with satellite channels, bathrobe and slippers, magnifying mirror, luxury toiletries, a hairdryer, and a private pavilion on the beach (VCZ).

Beach Villa Seafront 2 Bedrooms

These villas are reminiscent of a Mediterranean beach house with large rooms, a direct view of the sea, and fine design in white & ivory with blue accents. The ground floor features an entrance area that leads to an open-plan living space and a bedroom suite. Here, you will find a master bedroom with a king-size bed and a lounge that can also serve as a sleeping area for a child. The large spa-inspired bathroom features spacious closets for added comfort. On the upper floor of the villa is a second master bedroom suite with a direct view of the Cretan Sea and a stylish bathroom. The large, fully furnished balcony and the spacious veranda make relaxing outdoors a pleasure.

Buffet breakfast in the main restaurant "The Caramel" (7:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.) and buffet dinner in the restaurant "The Caramel" (high season: 7:00 p.m. – 9:15 p.m., low season: 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.).
Alternatively, dinner can be taken in one of the à la carte restaurants with a credit of €20 per adult and €10 per child. A reservation is required for this.
Drinks during dinner are for a fee.
Children up to 12 years of age also have access to snacks at "Grecoland" (11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) and there is a "Tasty Corner" for children in the main restaurant (12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.).

For stays of 7 nights or longer, dinner can optionally be taken once in each of the three à la carte restaurants (reservation required). One of the à la carte restaurants is the external tavern "Agreco Farm," which offers traditional, local Cretan cuisine in a rustic environment.

Destination information

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, payable by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and, as of January 1, 2025, is scaled from 0.50 euros to 15 euros per day and room.
