Location

The adults-friendly Emerald Oasis Glampotel, which is bookable from the age of 12, is situated on the edge of the village of Pigianos Kampos.
Some shopping and entertainment options can be found in the immediate vicinity.
A public beach without sun loungers and umbrellas is approx. 10 minutes' walk away.
The hotel's own minibus runs several times a day to the Azul Noho Hotel, approx. 5 km away, where guests can use the small water park, the bars, as well as the nearby beach and the Azul Beach Bar located there.
The harbour town of Rethymnon, with its beautiful old town, impressive Venetian castle, and magnificent avenues, is just approx. 7 km away. Heraklion airport is approx. 75 km away. A bus stop is within walking distance.

A new hotel concept invites you to a special kind of holiday. 30 domes are spread throughout a lush green garden, bookable for guests aged 12 and over. All domes are located around a central square with a 24-hour reception, lobby with lounge, and a pool bar. The Schauinsland-Reisen-Bar is located in the garden and invites you to linger in the shade. Each accommodation unit has its own small pool.
All facilities of the family hotel Emerald Oasis Hotel can also be used. The restaurant and main pool are located here, and these facilities are shared by all guests.
Sun loungers and parasols are included at the Azul Beach Bar (near the Noho Hotel, family hotel). Bath towels are available for a deposit. Further modernisations were carried out for summer 2026; the restaurant area has been redesigned, and additional planting as well as privacy and noise-protection elements have been installed to allow for even more peace and privacy in the dome areas. Wi-Fi is included throughout the entire Glampotel complex.

The modern domes offer every comfort and are equipped with shower/WC, vanity mirror, toiletries, hairdryer, double bed (160x200 cm), individual air conditioning/heating, direct-dial telephone, safe, 42" smart TV, mini-fridge, coffee/tea making facilities (daily replenishment with 4 packs of Nescafe coffee and 4 packs of tea per unit), two large bottles of water (1 litre each) upon arrival, large open wardrobe, mirror, and blackout curtains. The dome door features a mosquito net, and the terrace is equipped with comfortable lounge furniture including a table and chairs, two sun loungers, and a parasol. Each accommodation has a private pool (D/DR). Optionally available for single occupancy (DE).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We request that guests behave prudently and pay special attention when using this area.

A "smart-casual" dress code applies in the restaurants.

Destination information: Climate resilience fee

For stays from 1 January 2018, the Greek government has introduced a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on site, comparable to a local tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is staggered from 0.50 euros to 15 euros per day and room as of 1 January 2025.
