The Astoria is located at the entrance to the tranquil village of Agia Galini and is just a few minutes' walk from the sand/pebble beach and the harbor promenade with its taverns and shops. Heraklion airport is 74 km away.

This small, family-run hotel is ideal for vacationers seeking peace and quiet. It has 26 rooms and also offers a reception (staffed 16 hours a day), a breakfast room, and a bar with a terrace. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available at the beach for a fee.

Junior suite partial sea view

With the same facilities as the double rooms, the junior suites are more spacious, were renovated in 2025, and offer an additional seating area (J2S).

Suite Penthouse Superior Whirlpool Sea View

The suites were also renovated in 2025 and, with the same facilities as the double rooms, consist of one room with an additional sofa bed and a terrace with a private whirlpool, sun loungers, and sea view (PHS).
The whirlpool is not monitored by a lifeguard. We ask for prudent behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for young children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Meals

Breakfast or half-board (May 1st - Oct 31st)

Continental breakfast buffet from 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM.
When booking half-board, dinner is included. This is not taken at the hotel, but at a nearby tavern. Drinks are available for an extra charge.
Stays in April and November can only be booked with breakfast.
