The Atlantica Amalthia Beach Hotel, bookable for guests aged 16 and over, is located directly on the Blue Flag-awarded sandy beach of Agia Marina. Shops and entertainment venues are in the vicinity. Chania Airport is approximately 24 km away, while Heraklion Airport is approximately 148 km away.

The modern Adults Only complex, partially renovated in 2025 and bookable for guests aged 16 and over, features 129 rooms and offers a 24-hour reception, lobby with a satellite TV area, luggage room, breakfast room, and an à la carte restaurant on the beach (Greek and international cuisine). The well-maintained outdoor area includes 3 swimming pools with sun terraces, 2 whirlpools, and a pool/snackbar. Beach towels are available for a fee. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool, and available for a fee on the beach. Parking is available at the hotel free of charge, subject to availability. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel.

Double Room

The friendly and brightly furnished rooms offer a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, bathroom amenities, telephone, safe, individually controlled air conditioning, satellite TV, mini-fridge, and a balcony or terrace with garden view (2GD, located in the main building). Also available as economy rooms (SSZ), with sea view (DM), or for single occupancy (1GD).

Superior Double Room

With the same amenities as the double rooms, the superior rooms additionally offer bathrobes, slippers, and a coffee/tea maker (DSU).

Deluxe Double Room

With the same amenities as the superior double rooms, these rooms are slightly larger, located in the annex building (accessible via street or bridge), and offer garden or pool views (DD2). Also available with sea view (DDM).

Junior Suite

With the same amenities as the superior double rooms, these rooms are more spacious and additionally feature a separate bedroom with a second TV, a dining area with a kitchenette, and a shower and bathtub (JS2). Also available with sea view (J2M).

Breakfast/Half Board

Breakfast (7:30 AM - 10 AM) served buffet style.
With half board booked, dinner (7 PM - 9 PM) is served as a set menu in the à la carte restaurant.
Vegetarian dishes are available upon request. Please contact the reception on-site.

Destination information

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, payable by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from 01.01.2025, ranges from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day per room.
