The modern Petousis Hotel & Suites is located in Ammoudara, about 5 km west of Heraklion. Shopping facilities, bars, and restaurants are within easy walking distance. The lively holiday resort of Hersonissos is approx. 30 km away. The sandy beach is about 150 m away. Heraklion Airport is approximately 14 km away. A bus stop is located directly in front of the hotel complex.

Facilities

This 4-star hotel, last renovated in 2024, consists of a main building and two annexes and has a total of 99 rooms. It offers a 24-hour reception, lobby, luggage storage, an elevator, air conditioning, and a parking area. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. The air-conditioned main restaurant "Lithari", the nearby à-la-carte restaurant "Petousis", the lobby bar "Vegera", and the pool/snack bar "Coral" cater to guests' culinary needs. Two pools, lined with sunbathing areas, invite you to relax. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available here free of charge. At the beach, umbrellas and sun loungers are available for a fee.

The family rooms consist of a living/sleeping area with sofa beds and a separate bedroom with a double bed or two single beds. Executive Junior Suite Sharing Pool

The Executive Junior Suites with Sharing Pool offer the same amenities as the Junior Suites plus a visually separated living area. Guests also have access to a second TV in the room, bathrobes, slippers, turndown service (on request), and a bottle of wine as a welcome drink. Two sun loungers are available on the terrace (J2).
The sharing pool is not monitored by a lifeguard. We request careful behavior and special attention when using this area.

Swim Up Suite

These rooms offer luxury and privacy at the highest level. With the same equipment and amenities as the suites, the Swim-Up suites feature two separate rooms, each equipped with a combined living/sleeping area. Both rooms share a private pool. Two sun loungers are available on each terrace. Available on request (2SU).

Meals

Breakfast/Half-Board

Breakfast (7:30-10 am) is served buffet-style in the main restaurant "Lithari".
When booking half-board, dinner (6:30-9:30 pm) is included in buffet form (bookable April 15 - Oct 31).
For an extra charge, dinner can be taken in the à-la-carte restaurant.
Drinks are not included with dinner.
A children's menu is available at dinner.
Appropriate attire is requested. Gentlemen are asked to wear long trousers at dinner.

Note Climate Resilience Fee

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 euros to 15 euros per day and room starting January 1, 2025.
