The Apollonia Beach Resort & Spa is located directly on the long beach of Ammoudara. Shopping facilities, bars, and restaurants are in the vicinity. The center of Heraklion is approx. 9 km away. The distance to Heraklion airport is approx. 15 kilometers. A bus stop can be reached on foot after approx. 200 m.

The complex, consisting of a main building and 2-story terraced bungalows with a total of 336 rooms, is surrounded by a beautiful park-like garden and features a lobby with reception, 4 bars with a large terrace, a main restaurant, 3 à-la-carte restaurants (Greek and Italian cuisine, reservation required), a mini-market, a hairdresser, as well as an indoor and an open-air disco. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel complex. In the outdoor area, there are three freshwater swimming pools with two separate children's/baby pools, a sun terrace, and a lawn with sun loungers and umbrellas, a pool/snack bar, a beach kafenion, a tavern, and an amphitheater. Bungalow

The comfortable and large bungalows are equipped with bath/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, rental safe, music system, LED Smart TV, mobile extra bed, hairdryer, refrigerator, electric kettle, and a balcony or terrace. These are located in the bungalow buildings (B2A).
Optionally bookable for an extra charge with side sea view and a fixed bed (2BS).

Family room

Bungalow Superior renovated

The accommodations, which will be freshly renovated for summer 2026, are comfortably and modernly furnished and feature a bath/WC with walk-in shower, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, rental safe, telephone, LED Smart TV, music system, refrigerator, electric kettle, and a coffee/tea station. A balcony or terrace invites you to relax (2BU/BI/BI2).
Upon request, the bungalows can also be booked with a side sea view (BSX/BIS). In addition, the Bungalow Superior are available for single occupancy (1BU) or for single occupancy with side sea view (BS1).

Half board

American breakfast (7-10 am) and dinner (6:45-9:30 pm) in buffet form. Late breakfast from 10-10:30 am.
Drinks are not included with dinner.
Children's menus, vegetarian dishes, and special dietary meals (e.g., gluten-free) are available upon request.

Sports for a fee

Paid leisure activities include billiards as well as various water sports options, which are available seasonally from April 15th to October 15th.

Children slide down blue and yellow water slides into a hotel swimming pool.
The mini-club (4-12 years) takes place several times a week. Children's animation is offered. There are 2 water slides at one of the pools.

Climate Resilience Fee

For stays from 01/01/2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, to be paid by the guest on-site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and has been scaled from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room as of 01/01/2025.
