Note on climate resilience fee

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, payable by the guest on site, similar to a local tourist tax.

Arrival by car

From the airport (Heraklion), drive up to the national road and head towards Rethymnon, passing Heraklion (at the traffic light intersection) and continuing west along the coastal road. You will pass the exits for Paleokastro and Agia Pelagia; follow the road toward Rethymnon. The next exits mentioned are Sissi and Aloides; continue towards Rethymnon. After about 15 minutes, you will reach Bali (exit to the right), drive into the village, and follow the road to the small church. It is best to ask someone for directions to the hotel from there, as the roads can be narrow and winding in places.
