Location

The Bali Star Resort Boutique Hotel is located a few hundred meters from the sandy beach of Bali Beach and is particularly popular with beach holidaymakers and families. The nearest tourist center with shopping and leisure facilities is about 300m away. The cities of Rethymno (approx. 32 km) or Chania (approx. 90 km) are ideal for day trips. A supermarket as well as bars and restaurants can be reached in about 50m.
Nearby attractions include the Museum of Ancient Eleftherna, the El Greco Museum and the Arkadi Monastery. Car rental and a bus stop are available for mobility.
Heraklion Airport (HER) is about 52 km away, another airport (Chania, CHQ) is approx. 100 km away.

Facilities

The bright and modern, three-story beachfront hotel has a total of 35 comfortable rooms. It is equipped with a reception, a lobby, an elevator, air conditioning, a safe (free of charge) and a parking lot (free of charge). Culinary delights are provided by a main restaurant and the "Mambo Beach" restaurant (both air-conditioned) with a selection of fresh, typical Greek and international dishes. For maximum relaxation of body and mind, the "Calista" Wellness & Spa is available. The outdoor area of the hotel includes a freshwater pool with a children's pool. Sun umbrellas and sun loungers are available here free of charge. Refreshing drinks are available at the pool bar (open from 10 am to midnight).

Double room

The bright double rooms with colorful accents and garden or mountain view have a double bed and a sofa bed, tiled floor, kettle, balcony or terrace, safe, TV and centrally controlled air conditioning. The bathroom has a bathtub or shower and a toilet (approx. 16-20 m², D). Can also be booked for single occupancy (DE).

Double room Superior

The Superior rooms, with otherwise similar amenities to the double rooms, are slightly more spacious and have two single beds and two sofa beds, offering space for up to 4 people (approx. 22-28m², DSU).

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites, with their simple modern design and inland view, have a twin bed and a sofa bed as an additional sleeping option, tiled floor, balcony or terrace, kettle, capsule coffee machine, safe, Wi-Fi, TV and centrally controlled air conditioning. The bathroom has a shower/toilet (approx. 25m², JS2). Also available to book with access to the communal pool (J2).
Also available to book as a Junior Suite with garden and/or side sea view (J2G).

Suite side sea view

The elegant and comfortable suites (2SS, approx. 34m²) have a double bed and an additional sofa bed. They also feature a tiled floor, kettle, internet, safe, flat-screen TV, and individually adjustable air conditioning. They also have a bathroom with a bathtub.
Also available to book with a communal pool as type B (SW2).

Note for climate resilience fee

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government is levying a climate resilience fee, which is to be paid by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room from 01.01.2025.
