This small but charming 3-star hotel offers its guests a great location in one of Crete's most popular regions. The Athina Hotel is located approx. 70m from the nearest sandy beach, where guests can feel the wonderful sea air upon waking. After a day at the beach, hotel guests can explore the nearby shops in the evening, which are about 70m away. The nearest larger town is Rethymnon (approx. 32 km away). For hotel guests without a rental car, the bus is a good option, with the nearest bus stop located about 1.5 km away. The nearest airport (HER) is approximately 52 km away.

Facilities

The Athina Hotel is equipped with a total of 35 rooms, offering guests a wonderful private and familiar atmosphere. The rooms are spread across a main building and an adjacent building. The staff at the reception are always happy to assist with any questions or requests and will try their best to answer all queries. Information on climate resilience levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government is levying a climate resilience contribution, which must be paid by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euros per day per room from January 1, 2025.
For stays in high season (April 1 - October 31)
