Location

The area around Hersonissos is one of the most developed tourist regions on Crete and offers everything necessary for a wonderful holiday. Hersonissos is an area of significant natural and cultural wealth: beautiful nature, remarkable monuments, museums, and picturesque villages—Hersonissos is definitely worth a visit. The property is located directly on Glaros Beach, a sand/pebble beach. The town of Malia is approximately 10 km away, and Heraklion can be reached in about 27 km. For hotel guests who would like to explore the surrounding towns and regions by bus, there is a bus stop approximately 100 m away. The nearest airport (HER) is approximately 27 km away.

Facilities

The 6-story beach hotel, last completely renovated in 2022, features 164 rooms spread across a main building and an annex. The hotel reception staff are happy to assist guests with any questions or requests. The hotel includes a lobby with a bar, a mini-market, and free parking for hotel guests. Culinary needs are catered to by 3 restaurants, and the two bars in the hotel are always happy to welcome guests. The hotel's Wi-Fi network can be used for a fee.

Double room

These feature a shower, TV, air conditioning, rental safe, telephone, minibar, hairdryer, and a balcony or terrace (D).
Also bookable for single use (DE), with garden view (2GD), or partial sea view (DMS).

Super saver room

Unfortunately, no requests regarding amenities and location can be accommodated for these rooms. Room allocation is at the sole discretion of the hotelier on site (SSZ).

Superior partial sea view

The rooms are decorated in earthy tones and furnished with contemporary furniture. Amenities include a double bed and a comfortable sofa, a marble bathroom, a comfortable bathtub, and hotel toiletries (shower gel, shampoo). Additional features include a plasma TV, a small refrigerator, and a hairdryer (D2S). From summer 2026, also bookable in the annex (DSN).

Single room

With otherwise similar amenities as the double rooms, these are smaller (E).

Information on climate resilience levy

For stays starting from 01/01/2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience levy, which must be paid by the guest on site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per room per day as of 01/01/2025.
