Location

The Pilot Beach Resort is located directly on a kilometre-long, Blue Flag-awarded sandy beach, with picturesque views of the sea and the Lefka Ori (the so-called White Mountains). The complex was built on a large, natural site. The fishing village of Georgioupolis is approx. 1 km away. The famous Lake Kournas is the only natural freshwater lake on the Greek island of Crete and can be reached as an excursion destination in approx. 6 km. The entire hotel complex is located in an area characterized by natural beauty and framed by olive and avocado trees. Furthermore, the hotel has carefully landscaped gardens and swimming pools. Chania Airport is about 42 km away, Heraklion about 100 km. A bus stop is located directly in front of the hotel.

The spacious complex consists of 450 rooms spread over two areas, which are connected by an underpass. One of the areas is located in the lower part of the complex directly on the sandy beach. The main building houses the 24-hour reception with a spacious lobby lounge, main restaurant with a rooftop terrace, Greek theme restaurant with an Italian corner, bar with a large terrace, billiard room, bridge room, conference rooms, hairdresser, jeweler, mini-market, indoor pool (heated, for the pre- and post-season), and a spa area. In the annex building, near the beach, there is an Asian restaurant (June–September), a beach restaurant, and a beach bar. The outdoor areas feature an open-air cinema, four freshwater swimming pools with sun terraces and lawns, as well as a children's pool with slides. Sun loungers, beach towels, and parasols are available free of charge at the pools and on the beach.
Wi-Fi is included throughout the entire hotel complex.

Family Junior Suite 2 Bedrooms

The renovated Family Junior Suites feature a bathroom with bathtub/WC or shower/WC, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, bathrobes, slippers, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, refrigerator, minibar (on request, for a fee), safe, coffee/tea station, and a furnished balcony. These rooms consist of two bedrooms accessible via a connecting door. The Family Junior Suites are located in the upper part of the complex (FJ2).

Rich breakfast buffet in the main restaurant "Kronos" (7:00 am–11:00 am) and also in the beach restaurant "Gialos" (May–October; 8:00 am–10:30 am). Dinner is also served in buffet style in the main restaurant "Kronos" with show cooking (6:30 pm–9:30 pm). Optionally also available in the Greek theme restaurant "Ariadne" (7:00 pm–10:30 pm) and beach restaurant "Gialos" (7:00 pm–9:45 pm) with theme evenings (except Wednesdays and Saturdays).

Information on climate resilience levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government imposes a climate resilience levy, which must be paid by the guest on site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and has been staggered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room since January 1, 2025.
For stays during high season (April 1–October 31):
