Location

The luxurious holiday complex Georgioupolis Suites belongs to the Harpin hotel chain, which also includes the neighboring holiday resort Georgioupolis Resort, and is located about 250 m from the long, fine sandy beach, separated only by the national road (accessible via an underpass).
A free shuttle bus with a Clubcar is offered to the beach (on request).
The village of Georgioupolis, with some shopping and entertainment options, is about 3 km away, and the center of Kavros is about 700 m away.
Lake Kournas, the only natural freshwater lake in Crete, is about 3 km away.
Chania Airport is about 45 km away, and Heraklion Airport is about 101 km away.

The Georgioupolis Suites has 104 accommodation units as well as a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a modern pool area with a bar on the roof garden, a Meze restaurant, and a "Sweet Corner" on the beach, as well as a beach bar (drinks at the bars are charged for Half Board, included for All Inclusive Plus).
Some facilities of the sister hotel Georgioupolis Resort (except for the pools, the pool bar, and the main restaurant), such as the animation, the SPA area, a mini-market, and an à la carte restaurant with a partially covered outdoor terrace, can be used.
Amenities include a satellite TV corner, luggage room, Wi-Fi (included throughout the complex), main restaurant, and a grill/fish restaurant on the beach. In the generously designed outdoor area, there is a water park with various slides and water games for all ages.
Sun loungers, cushions, and umbrellas are available free of charge on the beach. Bath towels are available for a deposit. There is also a separate beach section with cozy gazebos (included) and drink service (included for All Inclusive Plus).

Accommodation

Junior Suite

The comfortably furnished Junior Suites are located on the ground floor and have a bedroom with a king-size bed and a separate living area with a sofa bed, bathroom with walk-in shower/toilet, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers and toiletries, 2 individually controlled air conditioners, fan, Wi-Fi (included), safe (included), 2x 46" Smart satellite TVs with HDMI connection, telephone, coffee and tea station, espresso machine (4 capsules daily per room) and a minibar (included for AI guests and refilled daily with 2 cans of beer, 2 cans of soft drinks, 2 bottles of water, and 2 juices; for Half Board, refilling is subject to a charge). Laptops, tablets, iPads, e-book readers, or PlayStations can be borrowed on request and availability for a deposit. Further amenities include an additional turndown service in the afternoon and a full-length mirror. All Junior Suites have a terrace with a table and chairs (JS2).
Optionally also for single use (JS1/J1P, can only be booked with AI+) or available in a limited contingent and at a special price as Junior Suite Type B (J2B) or also as Junior Suite (JSC). Optionally, at an additional charge, also available with side sea view (located on the first floor and with a balcony) (J2S).

Junior Suite Sharing Pool

The newly built rooms have the same amenities as the Junior Suites, plus direct access to the shared pool (SUJ).
The Junior Suite Sharing Pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. Please pay special attention to your children when using this area and act considerately.

The suites have the same amenities as the Junior Suites, with a separate bedroom, a private pool, and sea view (IP2).

Meals

Half Board

An American breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 10 AM, and dinner is served from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM in buffet form at the main restaurant.
In addition, there are various theme nights per week in the main restaurant (fish, Asian, gala dinner, Greek, etc.). Optionally, dinner can be taken in the à la carte restaurants.
Smart dress is requested for dinner.

All Inclusive

All Inclusive Plus

Breakfast (7:30 AM - 10:30 AM), lunch (12:30 PM - 2:30 PM) and dinner with regular theme nights (6:30 PM - 9:30 PM) served buffet-style with show cooking. An early bird breakfast is available from 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM, and late risers can enjoy breakfast from 10 AM to 11 AM at the beach bar.
Optionally, dinner (7:00 PM - 9:00 PM) can be enjoyed at the à la carte restaurant in Georgioupolis Resort, at the Grill Restaurant, or at the "Meze" Restaurant (reservations required). Depending on weather and occupancy, dinner can also be enjoyed at the fish night on the beach.
A midnight snack is served from 10:30 PM to 12:00 AM.
Snacks are available during the day at the Suites Pool/Snackbar. Ice cream and pastries are also offered in the afternoon. The "Sweet Corner" on the beach is open from 12 PM to 4 PM.
Local and international alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are included from 10 AM to 1 AM at the open bars: soft drinks, water, soda, various juices, coffee, cappuccino, frappé, tea, beer, 4 different white wines, 4 red wines, 2 rosé wines, Ouzo, Raki, brandy, vodka, gin, rum, tequila, whiskey, liqueurs, as well as selected long drinks and cocktails.
Selected drinks are included for All Inclusive Plus guests at the à la carte restaurants; a 20% discount is granted on others.

For the little guests, the sister hotel Georgioupolis Resort offers a mini club (0-3 years, supervised by parents), kids club (3-12 years), a teens club (13-17 years; July 15 - August 31), a playground with indoor and outdoor areas, 1 children's pool, high chairs in the restaurant, a children's buffet, and a diverse entertainment program with games, dances, quizzes, competitions, evening shows, musicals, and sketches.

Wellness

At Georgioupolis Resort, there is a wellness center with a massage salon, nail studio, and beauty salon offering facial and beauty treatments. All treatments and facilities are subject to a fee.
Use of the sauna and hammam is included (reservations required for both).
Use of the whirlpool is subject to a fee.

Note on climate resilience levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience contribution, which is to be paid by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room from January 1, 2025.
