The luxurious Georgioupolis Suites complex is part of the Harpin hotel chain, which also includes the neighboring Georgioupolis Resort, and is located approximately 250 m from the long, fine sandy beach, separated only by the national road (accessible via an underpass).
A complimentary club car shuttle service to the beach is available (upon request).
The village of Georgioupolis, with several shopping and entertainment options, is about 3 km away, while the center of Kavros is approx. 700 m away.
The well-known Lake Kournas, the only natural freshwater lake in Crete, is about 3 km away.
Chania Airport is approx. 45 km away and Heraklion Airport is approx. 101 km away.

Georgioupolis Suites features 104 units as well as a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a modern pool area with a bar on the roof garden, a Meze restaurant, a "Sweet Corner" on the beach, and a beach bar (drinks at the bars are chargeable for Half Board guests, included for AI Plus guests).
Certain facilities at the sister hotel, Georgioupolis Resort (excluding the pools, pool bar, and main restaurant), such as the entertainment program, SPA area, mini-market, and an à-la-carte restaurant with a partially covered outdoor terrace, may also be used.
Amenities include a satellite TV corner, luggage storage, Wi-Fi (included throughout the property), a main restaurant, and a grill/fish restaurant on the beach. In the spacious outdoor area, you will find a water park with various slides and water features for both adults and children.
Sun loungers, cushions, and umbrellas are provided free of charge on the beach. Bath towels are available for a deposit. There is also a separate beach section with cozy gazebos (included) and beverage service (included with AI Plus).

Accommodation

Junior Suite

The comfortably furnished Junior Suites are located on the ground floor and feature a bedroom with a king-size bed and a separate living area with a sofa bed, bathroom with walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers and toiletries, 2x individually adjustable air conditioning, fan, Wi-Fi (included), safe (included), 2x 46" Smart satellite TV with HDMI connection, telephone, coffee and tea station, espresso machine (4 capsules per day per room), as well as a minibar (included for AI guests and refilled daily with 2 cans of beer, 2 cans of soft drinks, 2 bottles of water, and 2 juices; for Half Board, refilling is available for a fee). Laptops, tablets, iPads, e-book readers, or Playstations can be rented upon request and availability for a deposit. Further amenities include an additional turndown service in the afternoon and a full-length mirror. All Junior Suites feature a terrace with a table and chairs (JS2).
Can also be booked for single use (JS1/J1P, only bookable with AI+) or for a limited quota and at a special price as a Junior Suite Type B (J2B) or as a Junior Suite (JSC). Optionally available with side sea view (located on the first floor with balcony) for an extra charge (J2S).

Junior Suite Sharing Pool

These newly built rooms offer the same amenities as the Junior Suites and additionally have direct access to a sharing pool (SUJ).
The sharing pool is not monitored by a lifeguard. We request careful behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Suite Private Pool Sea View

These suites offer the same amenities as the Junior Suites plus a separate bedroom, a private pool, and sea view (IP2).
The private pool is not monitored by a lifeguard. We request careful behavior and special attention when using this area.

Meals

Half Board

An American breakfast is offered from 7:30-10:00 AM and dinner from 6:30-9:30 PM in buffet style in the main restaurant.
Additionally, the main restaurant hosts various theme nights per week (fish, Asian, Gala Dinner, Greek, etc.). Dinner can optionally be taken in the à-la-carte restaurants.
Appropriate attire is requested for dinner.

All Inclusive

All Inclusive Plus

Breakfast (7:30-10:30 AM), lunch (12:30-2:30 PM), and dinner with regular theme nights (6:30-9:30 PM), all buffet-style with show cooking. An early-bird breakfast is offered from 7:00-7:30 AM; late sleepers can get breakfast from 10:00-11:00 AM at the beach bar.
Dinner (7:00-9:00 PM) can optionally be enjoyed at the à-la-carte restaurant at Georgioupolis Resort, the Grill Restaurant, or the "Meze" restaurant (reservation required). Depending on weather and occupancy, dinner may also be enjoyed during the fish night on the beach.
A midnight snack is served from 10:30 PM to midnight.
During the day, snacks are offered at the Suites pool/snack bar. Ice cream and pastries are also provided in the afternoon. The "Sweet Corner" on the beach is open from 12:00-4:00 PM.
National and international alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included from 10:00 AM to 1:00 AM at the respective open bars: soft drinks, water, soda, various juices, coffee, cappuccino, frappé, tea, beer, 4 types of white wine, 4 types of red wine, 2 types of rosé wine, ouzo, raki, brandy, vodka, gin, rum, tequila, whisky, liqueurs, as well as selected long drinks and cocktails.
In the à-la-carte restaurants, selected drinks are included for All Inclusive Plus guests; a 20% discount is applied to others.

For our younger guests, the sister hotel Georgioupolis Resort features a mini-club (0-3 years, under parental supervision), children's club (3-12 years), a teens' club (13-17 years; July 15 - August 31), a children's playground with indoor and outdoor areas, 1 children's pool, high chairs in the restaurant, a children's buffet, as well as a diverse entertainment program with games, dancing, quizzes, competitions, evening shows, musicals, and sketches.

Wellness

At Georgioupolis Resort, there is a wellness center with a massage salon, nail salon, and beauty salon offering facial and beauty treatments. All treatments and facilities are subject to a fee.
The use of the sauna and hammam is included (reservation required).
Use of the whirlpool is for a fee.
Massages, manicures/pedicures, and body treatments are also available for children (for a fee).

Note regarding climate resilience fee

For stays starting from Jan 1, 2018, the Greek government imposes a climate resilience fee, payable by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and, as of Jan 1, 2025, ranges from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room.
