The modern "Golden Bay Boutique Hotel & Bungalows" is located in the quiet and peaceful village of Gournes, right on the fine sandy beach. A few cafés and restaurants can be found in the immediate vicinity (approx. 2 km away). The Cretan capital Heraklion is approx. 15 km away, and Heraklion Airport is approx. 11 km from the hotel.

This chic, small hotel with a total of just 42 rooms was completely renovated in 2021 and features a lobby with 24-hour reception, luggage storage, a lounge, a TV lounge, Wi-Fi (included), and a bar. In the hotel's beautiful outdoor area, you will find a swimming pool with sun loungers and parasols (included), as well as a pool bar. The "Taste by the Sea" restaurant, located right on the beach, offers a stunning view of the Aegean Sea. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the beach for a fee. Pool towels are provided against a deposit.
