Location

The Kalyves Beach Hotel is located directly on a fine sandy beach, idyllically situated on the banks of a river in the Apokoronas region. The lively town center with numerous shopping opportunities and restaurants can be reached in just about 50 meters. The charming harbor town of Chania is located approximately 18 kilometers away and is easily accessible thanks to a regular bus connection with a stop in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Chania Airport is about 30 kilometers away, and Heraklion Airport is approximately 123 kilometers away.

Furthermore, unlimited high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, branded soft drinks, house wine in 375 ml bottles (two bottles per person per day), as well as premium beer are available. Fresh orange juice is included at breakfast and throughout the day.

Note on climate resilience levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience levy, which the guest must pay locally, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and has been staggered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room as of January 1, 2025.
