Location

The Ventale Island Breeze Resort is located between Rethymnon and Chania, just outside the village of Kavros. The hotel is situated directly on the beach overlooking the Cretan Sea. In the village of Kavros, only five minutes from the Ventale Resort, you will find gas stations, supermarkets, restaurants and tavernas, fast-food outlets, souvenir shops, and much more! Lake Kournas, a freshwater lake suitable for swimming, is only 5 km away. It is 4 km to the fishing village of Georgioupolis, 100 km to Heraklion International Airport, and 50 km to Chania International Airport. The distance to the beautiful old town of Chania is approx. 45 km, and the equally worth-seeing old town of Rethymno is approx. 20 km away. A bus stop can be reached after approx. 250 m.

Facilities

The Ventale Island Breeze Resort, Crete's most enchanting sanctuary, opened its doors in the summer of 2024. With only 85 rooms, it offers an oasis of tranquility and welcomes guests with a harmonious blend of luxury and nature. The 3-story main building features a lobby with a 24-hour reception, 2 elevators, a TV area, a mini-market, and free Wi-Fi. Culinary needs are catered to by the main restaurant, an à-la-carte restaurant, and the beach bar. In addition, the main bar with a large terrace directly by the pool and the lobby bar provide refreshments. The heart of the property is the outdoor pool, which features three whirlpool seating areas. This inviting pool area serves as an oasis of relaxation and leisure; free sun loungers and parasols are available. To gain access to the pool areas, guests may be required to show their room key to ensure a quiet environment for everyone. For those seeking a touch of luxury, gazebos are available on the beach. These pavilions feature personalized services (for an extra charge, including water, sparkling wine, and fruit) that make spending the day in the sun even more pleasant. Furthermore, free sun loungers and parasols are available to all guests, ensuring unparalleled relaxation on the beach.

Premium Double Room Sea View

These rooms feature a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed or two single beds, a bathroom with shower/WC, and a balcony with sea view (P2M). Amenities include a hair dryer, high-quality signature bathroom products, bathrobes, slippers, a beach bag with towels, electronic scale, individually adjustable air conditioning, smart TV (with satellite & music channels, incl. Netflix subscription), telephone, safe (included), USB port, minibar (for a fee), espresso machine, tea and coffee maker, ironing equipment, turndown service, and a pillow menu. Upon arrival, a bottle of water and a welcome gift are provided. Also available for single occupancy with land view (PEZ).

Premium Double Room Swim Up Sea View

These rooms have the same layout and size as the Premium Double Room Sea View and offer direct access to a private pool (DPJ/DUM).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for careful behavior and special attention when using this area.

Horizon Maisonette Pool View

The maisonette, with views of the impressive pool, consists of two levels. On the ground floor, there is a spacious living room with a cozy sofa as well as a comfortable bathroom. A staircase leads to the upper floor/level, where the master bedroom with 2 single beds or a king-size bed and a 55" LED satellite TV is located. There is also a large balcony (MP). The facilities are identical to the Premium Double Rooms but offer pool instead of sea views.

Prestige Junior Suite Sea View

With otherwise identical facilities as the Premium Double Rooms, the Junior Suite has an open-plan layout and consists of a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed and a living area with one or two sofas and a terrace or a balcony (J2M).

Prestige Junior Suite Swim Up

With otherwise identical facilities as the Prestige Junior Suite Sea View, the swim-up junior suites feature a private pool on the balcony and offer land view (SUJ). Optionally bookable with sea view for an extra charge (W2/JMI).

Infinity Suite Swim Up

The Infinity suites combine luxury and offer absolute comfort. With the same amenities as the Prestige Junior Suites Swim Up, the suite is open-plan and consists of a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed, a living room with 1 or 2 large sofa beds, and a balcony leading directly to the private infinity pool. Furthermore, the Infinity suites offer a dining area and a spectacular view of the bay of Georgioupolis (W2Q).

Half Board

The main restaurant "Anthea" offers a light breakfast from 6:00-7:30 am as well as an extensive buffet from 7:30-11:00 am with a selection of over 250 products. Drinks such as water (still or sparkling), juices (fresh orange juice), filter and instant coffee, espresso, cappuccino, hot chocolate, smoothies, and milkshakes are served at the table.
From 6:30-9:30 pm, Anthea offers a daily changing culinary delight with a rich buffet and live cooking stations. Often, themed evenings take place featuring a culinary journey around the world.
For dinner, a selection of Cretan, Greek, and international bottled wines, draft beer, and soft drinks are available for an extra charge.
Once per week, dinner can be taken at the à-la-carte restaurant; a reservation is required.
Vegan, lactose-free, and gluten-free dishes are prepared upon request.

From 12:00-5:30 pm, you can enjoy a selection of snacks, ice cream, salads, light dishes, and other delicacies in the restaurants, by the pool, or in the beach bar restaurant.
BEACH BAR RESTAURANT "HORIZON": open from 10 am – 11 pm. Enjoy a large selection of selected branded alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, selected cocktails, spirits, beer, soft drinks, juices, filter coffee, tea, instant coffee, espresso, cappuccino, Greek coffee.

The "ANASSA" A-LA-CARTE RESTAURANT is open daily from 7 pm – 10 pm and promises a journey through the flavors and aromas of Crete/the Mediterranean.

There is no better way to dine with friends or loved ones than to enjoy delicious dishes from local cuisine. Highest quality ingredients, largely from local producers, in an elegant and warm environment.
