Location

The Sunset Beach Hotel is located in Kokkini Hani, just 12 km east of the capital Heraklion. The hotel gets its name from its breathtaking location, right on the sandy beach, offering wonderful sunsets in a relaxed atmosphere. Due to its central location, the Sunset Beach Hotel offers its guests easy and convenient access to all destinations. The largest aquarium in Crete is just 3 km away. There is also a bus stop directly in front of the hotel, allowing for excursions in all directions. In the center of Kokkini Hani, you'll find cafes, bars, tavernas, and shops offering everything you might need. Family room sea view

These rooms have the same amenities as the Superior double rooms but are slightly more spacious, with a separate sleeping area and sea view (F2M).

Junior suite sea view

These rooms have the same amenities as the Superior double rooms, plus free Wi-Fi and coffee/tea making facilities. They consist of a shower/WC, a living/sleeping area, a bedroom, and a spacious balcony with sea view (J2M).

Destination information

For stays from 01/01/2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which is to be paid by the guest on site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from 01/01/2025, will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room.
