The Selini Suites & Waterpark is a modern hotel complex in the traditional coastal village of Rapaniana, in the west of the island.
Located only approx. 300 m from the sandy/pebble beach and with a variety of shopping and entertainment options in the immediate vicinity, it is ideal for those who wish to spend a special holiday in a friendly and luxurious environment. Chania Airport is approx. 35 km away.

Facilities

The family-friendly 4-star hotel complex is a modern facility with 168 rooms spread across several buildings, featuring elegant Cretan architecture with views of the turquoise waters of the Aegean and the coastal village of Rapaniana in Chania. Partially renovated recently, the property is one of the best family hotels in the area and offers a variety of different accommodation options.
The main building houses a spacious lobby area with 24-hour reception, lift, satellite TV corner, the main bar, and a buffet restaurant with an outdoor area serving a variety of traditional delicacies. The well-maintained grounds feature three swimming pools, a pool bar, and a waterpark with various slides (open six days a week, 150 m from the hotel). Sun loungers and parasols are included by the pool and available at the beach for a fee. Pool towels are available for a deposit.
Wi-Fi is included in public areas and in the rooms.

Double Room Garden or Pool View

The Double Rooms with garden or pool view feature a double bed or two single beds and a bathroom with shower/WC and hairdryer. They are also equipped with a flatscreen satellite TV, safe, individually adjustable air conditioning, mini-fridge, and a furnished balcony or terrace with garden or pool view (D).
Also bookable with sea view (DM/DMI), for single occupancy (DE), or as a super-saver room (SSZ).

Double Room Superior Pool View

The Double Rooms Superior Pool View have identical amenities to the Double Rooms with garden or pool view but include two additional sofa beds as sleeping options for up to two children (DSP/2DI).
Also bookable with sea view (DMU).

Family Room Sea or Pool View

The Family Rooms with sea or pool view consist of the same amenities as the double rooms but feature a combined living/bedroom area with two sofa beds for up to two children, a separate bedroom with a double bed or two single beds, and a bathroom with shower/WC. They also have a furnished balcony or terrace with sea or pool view (2RF).

Luxury Junior Suite Pool View

The Luxury Junior Suites Pool View have the same amenities as the Double Room Superior Pool View, feature a walk-in shower, and also have pool view (J2P).

Luxury Maisonette Side Sea View

The Luxury Maisonette rooms with side sea view, located in the three-story annex, are on two levels on the 2nd and 3rd floors, connected by a staircase. The lower level has a combined living/sleeping area with one or two sofa beds for up to two children and a bathroom with shower/WC as well as a small balcony. The upper level features a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with a walk-in shower/WC, and a large balcony with side sea view and view of the pool. The remaining amenities are similar to those of the double rooms (2SM).

Junior Suite Private Pool

The Junior Suites Private Pool have the same amenities as the Luxury Junior Suites Pool View and additionally feature a private pool (bookable for guests aged 13 and over, ZJP).
The pool is not monitored by a lifeguard. We ask for prudent behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for children.
Therefore, for security reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 13 for bookings of these room types.

American breakfast buffet from 7:30-10:30 a.m., lunch buffet from 12:30-2:30 p.m., and dinner buffet from 6:30-9:30 p.m. in the main restaurant.
Additionally, light snacks such as sandwiches, a salad bar, and pizza from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and 3:00-5:00 p.m. Also ice cream from 10:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m. at the pool bar.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks such as soft drinks, fruit juices, draft beer, house wine, ouzo, raki, rum, vodka, whiskey, tequila, brandy, liqueur, and selected cocktails are included from 10:30 a.m.-12:00 a.m. at whichever bar is currently open.

Note on climate resilience fee

For stays starting from January 1, 2018, the Greek government collects a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a local tourist tax.
The amount is based on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 euros to 15 euros per day per room starting from January 1, 2025.
For stays in the high season April 1 - October 31:
