Location

The 4-star Chrispy Waterpark Resort is located in a quiet setting, approximately 200 meters from the beach of the village of Kolymbari. Chania International Airport is about 35 kilometers away, and Heraklion Airport is roughly 160 kilometers away. A bus stop is accessible within about 400 meters. Shops and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity.

Facilities

This all-inclusive family hotel features 190 rooms, ranging from standard rooms to upgraded family rooms with a private pool. A water park, various sports facilities, a seasonal kids' club, and a sauna round off the offerings.
The resort's facilities include a 24-hour reception, lobby, lounge, a main restaurant with show-cooking (Cretan and Mediterranean cuisine), the "Kipos" tavern (à la carte, for an extra charge, open from May), a satellite TV area, a mini-market, and free Wi-Fi throughout the entire hotel property.
The outdoor area includes a sun terrace, outdoor showers, a pool bar, three outdoor pools (9 am - 8 pm), and a water park with seven water slides (10 am - 6 pm). Sun loungers and parasols are included at the pools, but available for a fee at the public beach. Bath towels are available for a fee and a deposit.

Superior Double Room

The double rooms are equipped with bath/shower, WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, a telephone (for a fee), a safe, TV, mini-fridge, and a balcony or terrace (DSU).

Superior Family Room

The family rooms consist of a bedroom with a double bed and a combined living/sleeping area with a twin bed. In addition to the standard amenities, these rooms include toiletries (F2U).

Premium Double Room with Private Pool

In addition to the standard double room amenities, these rooms feature toiletries and a furnished terrace with direct access to a private outdoor pool (P2N).
The private pool is not supervised by lifeguards. We ask for prudent behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Family Room with Private Pool

These family rooms also feature a bedroom with a double bed, a living room with two single beds, and bathroom toiletries. Additionally, the rooms are equipped with a furnished terrace with access to a private pool (R2F).

Breakfast 7-10 am, late-riser breakfast 10-10:30 am, lunch 12:30-3 pm, dinner with show-cooking 6:30-9:30 pm, all served as a buffet in the main restaurant with a separate children's buffet. There are 2 themed buffets per week (Greek, Asian, Mexican).
Optionally, dinner can be taken once per stay at the "Kipos" à la carte restaurant (6:30-9:30 pm, reservation required by 8 pm the previous day).
Drinks such as water, soft drinks, juices, draft beer, and local wine during meals.
Ice cream and snacks such as sandwiches, finger food, desserts, cakes, and fruit from 10 am to 6 pm.

Destination information - Climate Resilience Fee

For stays starting from January 1, 2018, the Greek government imposes a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on site, similar to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room, effective from January 1, 2025.
For stays during high season (April 1 - October 31):
1-2 star hotels: 2 Euro
3-star hotels: 5 Euro
4-star hotels: 10 Euro
5-star hotels: 15 Euro
For stays during low season (November 1 - March 31):
