Location

The 4-star Pyria Hotel, newly opened in 2024, is located in a quiet hillside setting in the picturesque village of Piskopiano, which is part of the Koutouloufari area. The small complex, ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, is located approximately 1.9 km from the nearest sand/pebble beach. The city center of Heraklion is approximately 25 km away and Heraklion International Airport is approximately 23 km from the hotel.

The partially newly built and partially completely renovated adults-friendly hotel (bookable for guests aged 14 and over) features a total of 56 contemporary-style rooms, a lobby with a 24-hour reception, and a first-class main restaurant (Mediterranean cuisine) with a terrace. The restaurant places the highest value on the use of fresh, local products from Crete. Furthermore, there is a lobby bar and a pool/snack bar available. In the outdoor area, the complex offers guests a large, comfortable, and relaxing sun terrace as well as well-kept gardens. The outdoor area provides two large freshwater swimming pools, a heated whirlpool, and a sharing pool that belongs exclusively to the Comfort double rooms and can also be heated. The total water surface area of all pools covers 600 m². The pools and the whirlpool are available daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available to guests at the pool free of charge. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the entire hotel complex.

The somewhat more spacious and beautifully furnished rooms feature direct sea view (DM/DMI) while offering the same amenities as the standard double rooms.

Suite Open Plan

The high-quality suites are designed in an open-plan layout as a combined living/sleeping area with a seating area and bedroom, and feature a sea view (S2M) with the same amenities as the standard double rooms.
Optionally bookable with land view (SA).
Also optionally bookable for an additional charge with a separate bedroom, though without a sea view (S2).

Meals

Breakfast/Half board

Continental early-bird breakfast (5–7 a.m.) as well as late breakfast (10–10:45 a.m.; until 2027) are available on request on site.
American breakfast buffet (7:30–10 a.m.).
When booking half board, dinner (7–9:30 p.m.) includes a salad and dessert buffet as well as an à la carte main course. Drinks are not included.
From 2027, lunch or dinner can be enjoyed à la carte (12–10 p.m.).
Vegetarian dishes and special dietary meals are available on site (registration via the reception).
