Location

The hotel is situated directly on the gently shelving sandy beach and is surrounded by an oasis of palm trees. Located just 300 m from the lively center of Malia with its many shopping and entertainment options, the hotel offers both relaxation and fun. The island's capital, Heraklion, and the local airport are about 30 km away.

The modern complex is a Schauinsland-Reisen original and has only 57 rooms, distributed across several buildings. There is a reception with a small lobby, a swimming pool with a sun terrace, a children's pool, and a pool/snack bar. Sun loungers and parasols are included at the pool and available for a fee at the beach. Bath towels are available for a fee.
Wi-Fi is included throughout the complex.
Together with the very warm and helpful nature of the owner, Loula, and her equally welcoming team, nothing stands in the way of a typical Greek vacation "like staying with friends." Hospitality is truly lived here.

Accommodation

Studio Type A

The comfortably furnished studios, located in the annex building, feature a double bed, a kitchenette with a 2-ring stove, and a bathroom with a shower/WC. The rooms are also equipped with a flatscreen TV, air conditioning, a safe (for a fee), a microwave, a mini-fridge, a coffee/tea station, and a furnished balcony or terrace with a view of the garden (AST).
Also bookable as a 3-bed room (S2B) or for single use (S1B).
The rooms are located in the annex building, on the opposite side of the street. The beach is approx. 250 m away from the rooms.

Studio side sea view

The studios with side sea view, located in the main building, offer the same amenities as the Studio Type A but with a side sea view (M2S).

Apartment side sea view

The apartments with side sea view, located in the main building, consist of a combined living/bedroom with sleeping space for up to two people (sofa beds) and feature a kitchenette with a 2-ring stove, a separate bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom with a tub or shower/WC. Furthermore, they are equipped with a microwave, mini-fridge, coffee/tea station, flatscreen TV, air conditioning, and a rental safe, and they have a furnished balcony with a side sea view (2AS/AIS).
Also bookable for single use (1AS).

Note on Climate Resilience Tax

For stays starting from 1/1/2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience tax to be paid by the guest locally, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount is based on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room as of 1/1/2025.
