Location

The Ikaros Beach Resort is an adults-only property and can be booked for guests aged 16 and over. The resort is beautifully situated on a rocky promontory, directly on a fine sandy beach. The town center of Malia is reachable in about 10 minutes on foot. Shopping facilities as well as several taverns are in the immediate vicinity.
To the east lies the town of Agios Nikolaos at a distance of approx. 30 km, and to the west is the capital of Crete, Heraklion, at a distance of approx. 35 km. A bus stop is within walking distance. Heraklion Airport is approximately 33 km away.

Designed in the style of a Cretan village, the hotel complex features a main building as well as one or two-story natural stone bungalows, providing a harmonious environment for a relaxing holiday. Amenities include an indoor and outdoor theater, a restaurant, four à-la-carte restaurants, a bar, the "Ammos" Beach Restaurant, a mini-market, an internet corner, and an indoor pool.
The expansive and beautifully landscaped garden area features two freshwater pools as well as sun terraces and lawns. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge at the pool and beach; pool towels are available for a deposit. Additionally, there is a mini-market, a jewelry store, a souvenir shop, and a boutique on site. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the entire hotel complex.

Half Board/Full Board

Breakfast (7:30–10:30 AM) is served as a buffet in the main restaurant "Olive".
Late continental breakfast (10:30–11:00 AM) in the main restaurant "Olive".
Dinner (6:45–9:30 PM) is served as a buffet in the main restaurant "Olive".
Lunch (12:30–2:30 PM) is served as a buffet when full board is booked. Guests on half board can choose to take this instead of dinner.

Information on climate resilience fee

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, to be paid by the guest locally, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount is based on the type/category of the accommodation and, as of January 1, 2025, is staggered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room.
For stays in high season April 1–October 31:
