Location

This hotel, built in a classic style, is located in an idyllic, quiet hillside position on the mountain side of Malia, nestled in a beautiful garden with a fantastic panoramic view of the bay of Malia and Stalis.
The beautiful sandy beach is just a few minutes' walk away, and the old town of Malia, with its numerous shopping and entertainment venues, is approximately a 10-minute walk from the hotel. There is a public bus stop located directly below the hotel at a distance of approx. 200 m. The distance to Heraklion Airport is approx. 35 km.

The personally managed property with German-speaking staff has a friendly and familiar atmosphere, making it a wonderful choice for guests who want to spend their holidays among friends.
The Matheo Hotel Villas & Suites, which was partially renovated in 2023, features a total of 83 rooms, a reception area, a 24-hour reception renovated in 2023, a lift, a TV corner, as well as a restaurant with terrace and bar renovated in 2023 (each open seasonally). Wi-Fi is included throughout the hotel area. In the outdoor area, there is a swimming pool, also renovated in 2023, with a separate children's pool and a whirlpool. Sun loungers and parasols are included at the pool and are available at the beach for a fee. Bath towels can also be rented for a fee.

Double room Superior side sea view

The more spacious Superior double rooms feature a walk-in rain shower/WC, hairdryer, vanity mirror, bath towels, air conditioning, safe, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, espresso machine, ironing facilities, a sofa bed, satellite TV (German channels available), telephone, and a balcony or terrace with a side sea view (D2S). Optionally bookable with sea view for an additional charge (DMU/DIM).

Suite side sea view

The spacious suites offer the same facilities as the Superior double rooms and additionally feature a separate living/sleeping area with a connecting door and side sea view (2SS). Optionally bookable with sea view for an additional charge (S2M).
