The family-friendly High Beach hotel is located directly on the long, gently sloping sandy beach of Malia. Numerous shopping and entertainment options, bars, and discos are in the immediate vicinity. It is approximately 800 m to the center of Malia. The distance to Heraklion Airport is approximately 35 km. A bus stop can be reached after approximately 750 m.

The charming complex, spread over nine buildings, has a total of 144 rooms, a lobby with a 24-hour reception, the "Estia" main restaurant, the "Elia" rooftop à la carte restaurant, as well as three bars and the "Veranda" pool bar-restaurant. In the well-kept outdoor area, there is a sun terrace, 4 swimming pools (one of which is heated), a separate children's pool, and a whirlpool. Sun loungers and parasols are included both at the pool and on the beach. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the entire hotel complex.

The tastefully furnished double rooms are equipped with bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, slippers, toiletries, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, Nespresso coffee machine (daily replenishment of espresso capsules included), coffee/tea station, mini-fridge (one bottle of mineral water included daily), rental safe, and a balcony or terrace (D/DI). These can optionally be booked as super saver rooms without slippers (SSZ).

Deluxe double room

The Deluxe rooms are somewhat more spacious and are equipped with bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, slippers, toiletries, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, Nespresso coffee machine (daily replenishment of espresso capsules included), coffee/tea station, mini-fridge (one bottle of mineral water included daily), rental safe, and a balcony or terrace. In addition, the rooms feature a 43'' smart TV, higher-quality toiletries, bathrobes, bath towels, and a small sitting area (DD2/D2I). A sofa bed is available for a third person in the room.
For bookings made by 31.3.2026 for the 2026 summer season, two sun loungers and a parasol on the beach are reserved for guests in advance by the hotel, provided the room number is specified.

Deluxe double room side sea view

With the same amenities as the Deluxe double rooms, these rooms feature a side sea view. Additionally, two sun loungers and a parasol on the beach are reserved for guests in advance by the hotel, provided the room number is specified (DDS/ID2).

Maisonette

The ground floor features the living area with 1-2 sofa beds, shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, two satellite TVs, coffee/tea station, high-quality toiletries, Nespresso coffee machine (espresso capsules included), mineral water (one bottle included daily), bath towels (included), bathrobes and slippers, mini-fridge, rental safe, and a terrace. The separate bedroom is located on the 1st floor (access via an open maisonette-style staircase, M2).

Juniorsuite sea view Aquamarine

The spacious Aquamarine sea view junior suites consist of a combined living/bedroom with a king-size bed and a sofa bed as well as a sitting area. They feature a bathroom with a hydromassage bathtub and WC (some suites additionally offer a separate shower cubicle), high-quality toiletries, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, 55" smart TV, Nespresso coffee machine (espresso capsules included), mineral water (one bottle included daily), a minibar stocked with soft drinks upon arrival (replenishment for a fee), bath towels (included), and a balcony or terrace with a sea view (J2M). Suite Diamond Beach sea view

The Diamond Beach sea view suite features the same amenities as the Aquamarine sea view junior suite but is slightly larger and offers a fantastic sea view due to its location in the first row to the beach (SDM). Additionally, two sun loungers and a parasol on the beach are reserved for guests, provided the room number is specified.

Emerald Suite sea view

With the same amenities as the Aquamarine sea view junior suite, the open-plan Emerald sea view suites are considerably more spacious and thus offer perfect conditions for restful comfort (S2M). Additionally, two sun loungers and a parasol on the beach are reserved for guests, provided the room number is specified.

Pasiphae Beachfront Villa

The exclusive and luxurious villa is spread over two floors. On the ground floor, there is an approximately 50 m² open-plan area combining the living room and a fully equipped kitchen with a bathroom with shower/WC. The first floor features a bedroom that is also approximately 50 m², equipped with a king-size bed and two sofa beds, with its own WC and hydromassage bathtub, offering ultimate relaxation with breathtaking sea views. A private 50 m² garden, perfect for enjoying the sun and sea in a quiet and secluded setting, is also part of the villa. Furthermore, the villa features additional amenities such as high-quality toiletries, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, two 55" smart TVs, Nespresso coffee machine (espresso capsules included), mineral water (one bottle included daily), a minibar stocked with soft drinks upon arrival (replenishment for a fee), bath towels, and a welcome package upon arrival (snacks, mineral water, and a bottle of wine). Two reserved sun loungers are also available on the beach (H2V, only bookable on request).

Chef prepares pizza in modern stone oven kitchen.

All Inclusive

Breakfast (7:30-10:30 a.m.), lunch (12:30-2:30 p.m.), and dinner (6:30-9:30 p.m.) in buffet form. Children's buffet at lunch and dinner, including fish, pasta, French fries, and pizza. An early-bird breakfast is available from 7-7:30 a.m., and a late-riser breakfast from 10:30-11 a.m.
Snacks, ice cream, and waffles are included from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. at the "Tropicana Vitamin Pool Bar".
The "Il Forno" pizzeria serves homemade pizza from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
Local non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks such as soft drinks, juices, wine and beer, coffee and tea are included from 10 a.m.-11 p.m. at the respectively open bar.
1x per stay, a 4-course meal in the "Veranda" restaurant or a 5-course meal in the "Elia" restaurant is included (reservation required one day in advance).
1x per stay, access to the cocktail bar is also included (reservation required).

Ultra All Inclusive

In addition to the services mentioned above, local and selected international non-alcoholic and alcoholic branded drinks, such as whiskey (Johnnie Walker, Haig, Mackenzie, Red Label, and many more), rum (e.g., Havana Club, Bacardi), gin, tequila, Martini, brandy, vodka, soft drinks, juices, cocktails, wine, and beer, as well as coffee and tea, are included from 10 a.m.-midnight at the respectively open bar.
Access to the adult-only "Sunset" bar, which serves international alcoholic drinks, cocktails, long drinks, branded spirits, wine, beer, and soft drinks (Black Labels for a fee) from 6-11 p.m. (May to October), is included (reservation required).
For all room types, a 5-course meal in the "Elia" à la carte restaurant and a 4-course meal in the "Veranda" restaurant are included 1x per stay each (reservation required at least one day in advance).

Sports included

Table tennis, darts, the fitness gym, the outdoor fitness area, as well as the mini-football field and the mini-basketball court can be used free of charge. A fee only applies for padel when using the floodlights.

Note on climate resilience levy

For stays from 1.1.2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, comparable to a tourist tax.
