The family-friendly High Beach Hotel is located on the long, gently sloping sandy beach of Malia. Numerous shopping and entertainment options, bars, and discos are in the immediate vicinity. The center of Malia is approximately 800 meters away. The distance to Heraklion Airport is about 35 km. A bus stop can be reached after approximately 750 meters.

The charming complex, spread across nine buildings, features a total of 144 rooms, an entrance area with a 24-hour reception, the "Estia" main restaurant, the rooftop à-la-carte restaurant "Elia", as well as three bars and the "Veranda" pool bar restaurant. The well-kept outdoor area includes a sun terrace, 4 swimming pools (one of which is heated), a separate children's pool, and a whirlpool. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at both the pool and the beach. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel premises.

The tastefully furnished double rooms feature a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, slippers, care products, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, Nespresso coffee machine (daily replenishment of espresso capsules included), coffee/tea station, mini-fridge (one bottle of mineral water included daily), rental safe, and a balcony or terrace (D/DI). Optionally, these can also be booked as super saver rooms without slippers (SSZ, bookable until Summer 2026).

Double Room Deluxe

The Deluxe rooms are slightly more spacious and feature a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, slippers, care products, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, Nespresso coffee machine (daily replenishment of espresso capsules included), coffee/tea station, mini-fridge (one bottle of mineral water included daily), rental safe, and a balcony or terrace. In addition, the rooms feature a 43'' Smart TV, higher-quality care products, bathrobes, beach towels, and a small sitting area (DD2/D2I). For a third person in the room, a sofa bed is provided.
For bookings made until March 31, 2026, for the 2026 summer season, two sun loungers and one umbrella at the beach are reserved in advance by the hotel for guests, identified by room number.

Double Room Deluxe Side Sea View

With the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Rooms, these rooms offer a side sea view. Additionally, two sun loungers and one umbrella at the beach are reserved in advance by the hotel for guests, identified by room number (DDS/ID2).

Maisonette

The ground floor contains the living area with 1-2 sofa beds, shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, two satellite TVs, coffee/tea station, high-quality care products, Nespresso coffee machine (espresso capsules included), mineral water (one bottle included daily), beach towels (included), bathrobes and slippers, mini-fridge, rental safe, and a terrace. The separate bedroom is located on the first floor (access via a staircase in open maisonette style, M2).

Deluxe Family Room

The Deluxe Family Rooms consist of two separate bedrooms, equipped with a king-size bed in one and two single beds in the other bedroom. Junior Suite Sea View Aquamarine

The spacious Junior Suites Sea View Aquamarine consist of a combined living/sleeping area with a king-size bed and a sofa bed, as well as a sitting area. The Suite Diamond Beach Sea View has the same amenities as the Junior Suite Sea View Aquamarine, but is slightly larger and offers a fantastic sea view due to its position in the first beach row (SDM). Additionally, two sun loungers and one umbrella at the beach are reserved for guests, identified by room number.

Emerald Suite Sea View

With the same amenities as the Junior Suite Sea View Aquamarine, the open-plan Emerald Suites Sea View are considerably more spacious, providing perfect conditions for relaxing comfort (S2M). Additionally, two sun loungers and one umbrella at the beach are reserved for guests, identified by room number.

Pasiphae Beachfront Villa

The exclusive and luxurious villa spans two floors. The ground floor features a spacious, approximately 50 m² open-plan area that combines the living room and a fully equipped kitchen with a bathroom including a shower/WC. The first floor features an equally spacious 50 m² bedroom, equipped with a king-size bed and two sofa beds, with a private WC and hydromassage bathtub, offering ultimate relaxation with a breathtaking sea view. A private 55 m² garden, perfect for enjoying the sun and sea in a quiet and secluded environment, is also part of the villa. Furthermore, the villa offers additional amenities such as high-quality care products, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, two 55" Smart TVs, Nespresso coffee machine (espresso capsules included), mineral water (one bottle included daily), a minibar stocked with soft drinks upon arrival (replenishment for a fee), beach towels, and a welcome package upon arrival (snacks, mineral water, and a bottle of wine). Chef prepares pizza in modern stone oven kitchen.

All Inclusive

Breakfast (7:30-10:30 a.m.), lunch (12:30-2:30 p.m.), and dinner (6:30-9:30 p.m.) in buffet form. Children's buffet for lunch and dinner, including fish, pasta, French fries, and pizza. An early-bird breakfast is available from 7:00-7:30 a.m., and a late-riser breakfast from 10:30-11:00 a.m.
Snacks, ice cream, and waffles are included from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the "Tropicana Vitamin Pool Bar".
The pizzeria "Il Forno" serves homemade pizza from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Local non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks such as soft drinks, juices, wine and beer, coffee, and tea are included from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the bar that is currently open.
Once per stay, a 4-course menu in the "Veranda" restaurant or a 5-course menu in the "Elia" restaurant is included (reservation required one day in advance).
Additionally, access to the cocktail bar is included once per stay (reservation required).

Ultra All Inclusive

In addition to the services mentioned above, local and selected international non-alcoholic and alcoholic brand-name drinks, such as whiskey (Johnnie Walker, Haig, Mackenzie, Red Label, etc.), rum (e.g., Havana Club, Bacardi), gin, tequila, Martini, brandy, vodka, soft drinks, juices, cocktails, wine, and beer, coffee, and tea are included from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. at the bar that is currently open.
Access to the adults-only bar "Sunset", which serves international alcoholic drinks, cocktails, long drinks, brand-name spirits, wine, beer, and soft drinks (black labels for a fee) from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (May to October), is included (reservation required).
For all room types, a 5-course menu in the à-la-carte restaurant "Elia" and a 4-course menu in the "Veranda" restaurant are included once per stay each (reservation required at least one day in advance).

Sports included

Table tennis, darts, the gym, the outdoor fitness area, as well as the mini-football field and the mini-basketball court can be used free of charge. For padel, a fee applies only when using the floodlights.

Information on climate resilience tax

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience tax, which is to be paid by the guest on site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room as of January 1, 2025.
