Location

This family-run hotel, which welcomes guests from the age of 12, is located in the heart of an authentic Cretan setting in Malia. Surrounded by lush, landscaped gardens and just a few steps away from local shops, it offers a central location. The town center of Malia is reachable in approximately 1.5 km, and the beautiful sandy beach is about 150 m away. Heraklion Airport is located around 32 km from the hotel. A bus stop is within walking distance.

The comfortable hotel complex is bookable as a Schauinsland-Reisen Original for guests aged 12 and over and comprises a total of 48 rooms. Amenities include a 24-hour reception with a lobby, a lounge area with a fireplace, and a mini-library. The restaurant features an outdoor area and an open kitchen with show cooking. The offering is complemented by a bar (11 a.m.–11 p.m.). In addition to the drinks at the bar, a drinking fountain with spring water is available.
In the newly designed outdoor area, there is a freshwater swimming pool as well as a sun terrace with cozy lounges and sun loungers that invite you to relax. A small orchard with figs and pomegranates completes the ambiance. Bath towels can be borrowed free of charge. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at the pool; these are available for a fee at the sandy beaches of Malia. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the entire hotel complex.

Destination information: Climate Resilience Fee

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax.
The amount is based on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euros per Day and room as of January 1, 2025.
