Location

The small, cozy, and family-run hotel is situated in a slightly elevated position, approx. 300 m from the center of Matala and about 400 m from the beach. Matala is an ideal starting point for exploring the south of Crete with its sights and archaeological sites.

The complex was renovated for the summer of 2025 and has 42 double rooms and 8 family rooms, distributed across three buildings. The hotel offers a modern reception area with a 24-hour front desk, lounge, restaurant, a seating area, a bar, as well as a TV corner. In the beautiful outdoor area, a swimming pool with a sun terrace and a pool bar invite guests to relax. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool and available for a fee at the beach. Bath towels are available for a fee.
Wi-Fi is included throughout the complex.

Superior Double Room

The rooms, decorated in Cretan style, feature a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, individually adjustable air conditioning, satellite TV, refrigerator, and a balcony or terrace (DSU/DSI).
Optionally also bookable for single use (DSE).

Note on climate resilience levy

For stays from 1/1/2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience levy, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a local tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and has been tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room as of 1/1/2025.
For stays in the high season 1/4 - 31/10:
