Location

The Aristea Hotel is located in a quiet area on the outskirts of Missiria, only approx. 30 meters from the nearest beach. Some restaurants and a supermarket are within walking distance. The center of Rethymno with numerous leisure and entertainment options is approx. 3 km from the hotel. The distance to Chania Airport is approx. 70 km, Heraklion Airport is approx. 80 km from the hotel.

The small hotel has a total of 54 rooms and suites and offers its guests a lobby with reception (8 am-9 pm), luggage room, a lounge with a terrace, a TV room, breakfast lounge, and Wi-Fi throughout the premises (included). The outdoor area of the hotel features a sun terrace with a swimming pool and a separate children's pool, as well as a pool/snackbar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge by the pool and for a fee at the beach.

With the same basic amenities as the Comfort Apartments, these rooms are open-plan and have a side sea view (M2S).

With the same amenities as the studios, these rooms are significantly more spacious and have a direct sea view (S2M).

Information on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government has introduced a climate resilience levy, which must be paid by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from January 1, 2025, will range from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day per room.
For stays during the high season (April 1 - October 31):
Category 1-2 Stars: 2 Euros
Category 3 Stars: 5 Euros
Category 4 Stars: 10 Euros
Category 5 Stars: 15 Euros
For stays during the low season (November 1 - March 31):
Category 1-2 Stars: 0.50 Euros
Category 3 Stars: 1.50 Euros
Category 4 Stars: 3 Euros
Category 5 Stars: 4 Euros
