The elegant The Royal Blue Resort & Spa is located directly on the hotel's own bay with an artificial sand/pebble beach. The village of Panormo is approximately 30 to 40 minutes away on foot. A bus stop with connections to the small harbor town of Rethymnon, located 18 km away, is about 300 m from the hotel. Heraklion Airport is approximately 58 km away.

The high-quality The Royal Blue Resort & Spa features a total of 187 rooms spread across several annex buildings, a lobby with 24-hour reception, a lounge with terrace, luggage storage, mini-market, library, a boutique, and a souvenir/jewelry shop. Wi-Fi is included throughout the entire facility. Catering to your culinary needs are a main restaurant, three à-la-carte restaurants, 4 bars, and a wine cellar. Also luxurious and very spacious, these villas have the same amenities as the Luxury Suite Seafront. They are laid out in maisonette style, consisting of a bedroom on the upper floor and a living/sleeping room on the ground floor. They also feature a terrace with sun loungers, a private pool, and a private garden (2VA).

Climate Resilience Tax

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government has introduced a climate resilience tax, to be paid by the guest locally, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room, effective from January 1, 2025.
