The "Belvedere Apts & Spa" hotel is located in the holiday area of Plakias and is only approx. 150 m from the sandy beach. Entertainment options such as bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance in Plakias. The distance to Heraklion and Chania airports is 114 km and approx. 96 km, respectively. A bus stop can be reached in approx. 400 m.

Facilities

The modern complex consists of 12 apartments and studios and features a lobby with a 12-hour reception. Furthermore, the hotel is equipped with a TV corner, luggage room, supermarket, and souvenir shop. In the well-maintained outdoor area, there are two swimming pools (seasonally heatable) with a separate children's pool and a terrace. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool and available for a fee at the beach. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel complex.

Junior Suite

The junior suites consist of an open-plan bedroom with a seating area and a kitchen, and are equipped with a shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, air conditioning, a safe, smart TV, and a balcony or terrace. Toiletries and a beach bag with beach towels are also provided. (JS2). Also bookable for single use (JS1).

Superior Apartment

The superior apartments consist of a bedroom and a combined living/bedroom with a seating area and a kitchen. They are equipped with a shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, air conditioning, a safe, smart TV, and a balcony or terrace. Toiletries and a beach bag with beach towels are also provided. (A2U).

Suite 2 Bedrooms Whirlpool Sea View

The suite consists of two bedrooms and a combined living/bedroom with a seating area and a kitchen. It is equipped with a shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, air conditioning, a safe, smart TV, and a balcony or terrace with a whirlpool. Toiletries and a beach bag with beach towels are also provided. There are a total of two bathrooms in this room category (Y2J).
The whirlpool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased potential danger for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children for bookings of these room types.

Note on climate resilience fee

For stays from January 1st, 2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is staggered from 0.50 euros to 15 euros per day and room as of January 1st, 2025.
