The friendly hotel complex belongs to the "Minos Collection" and is centrally located on the outskirts of the town of Rethymnon. The sand/pebble beach is approximately 150 m away. Various shopping and entertainment options can be found within a distance of approx. 100 m, and the old town can be reached in 15–20 minutes on foot. The nearest bus stop is approx. 30 m away, Heraklion airport is approx. 80 km away, and Chania airport is approx. 72 km away.

Facilities

The well-maintained Hotel Minos, with its courteous and experienced service, features a total of 174 rooms, a lobby with a 24-hour reception, an air-conditioned restaurant, and a bar with a terrace. The outdoor area includes two freshwater swimming pools (one of which is an adults-only pool), a children's pool, sun terraces, and a pool/snack bar. Sun loungers and parasols are included at the pool and available for a fee at the beach. Bath towels are available for a deposit. Wi-Fi is provided free of charge throughout the hotel complex.

Deluxe double room

The more spacious deluxe double rooms feature a bathroom with shower/WC, bathrobes, slippers, pillow menu, tablet (for a deposit), 40" satellite TV, air conditioning, safe, telephone, refrigerator, minibar (on request, for a fee), tea/coffee facilities, and a fruit basket and wine upon arrival. An additional sleeping option is also available (DD2). Also available for single occupancy (DD1) or, for an extra charge, with pool view and further amenities (turndown service and down duvets) (DPB).

Superior junior suite

The superior junior suite features a bathroom with shower/WC, bathrobes, slippers, pillow menu, tablet (for a deposit), 40" satellite TV, air conditioning, safe, telephone, refrigerator, minibar (weekly replenishment with non-alcoholic beverages), tea/coffee facilities, a welcome package with fruit and sparkling wine, and bath towels. In addition to a double bed, the combined living/bedroom contains two single beds/sofa beds (JU2).

Destination information: Climate Resilience Tax

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government has introduced a climate resilience tax, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax.
