The city hotel Theartemis Palace is located just 200 meters from the long sandy beach of Rethymnon and only a 15-minute walk from the historic city center with its beautiful alleys and the harbor. Heraklion Airport is approx. 80 km away and Chania Airport is approx. 68 km away.

This comfortable hotel with a total of 249 rooms features a lobby with a 24-hour reception, luggage storage, elevator, lounge with terrace, main restaurant (renovated in 2025), à-la-carte restaurant, lobby bar, and snack bar. There is also a jeweler, a cosmetic shop, a children's play area, a fitness room, and an external spa area. In the outdoor area of the complex, you will find the sun terrace with two freshwater swimming pools with an integrated children's pool, sun loungers, and parasols, as well as the pool/snack bar. Sun loungers and parasols are included at the pool and available for a fee at the beach (provided by third-party suppliers). Bath towels are included.
Wi-Fi is included in public areas and in the rooms.

Superior double room with whirlpool

With the same facilities as the double rooms, these rooms are located on the ground floor and have an outdoor whirlpool (JN2).
The whirlpool is not monitored by a lifeguard. We request cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased risk potential for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Family room

With the same facilities as the double rooms, these feature a shower/WC and consist of a bedroom with a double bed or two twin beds and a living/bedroom area with two sofa beds (DF2).

Maisonette

With the same facilities as the double rooms, these feature a separate bedroom, a shower/WC, and are designed in maisonette style (M2).

Suite with private pool

The suites have a living/bedroom area that can be separated by a sliding door. The rooms feature standard equipment with a private, heated outdoor pool (SP2).
