The hotel is located in Platanes, approximately 6 km from Rethymnon, which offers numerous restaurants, shopping, and entertainment options. The nearest sand/pebble beach is about 300 m away, and a local bus stop is also located at a distance of approximately 300 m. Heraklion Airport is about 77 km away, and Chania Airport is approximately 72 km away.

Facilities

The 4-star Grecotel Casa Adele hotel is built in the style of a charming village, featuring three distinct areas: "Casa Adele," "Casa Serena," and "Villa Adele." The hotel, most recently fully renovated, offers 139 room units and includes a lobby with a 24-hour reception and a Greek-Italian restaurant featuring seasonal summer flavors. In the garden, there are three freshwater swimming pools with a pool bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are provided free of charge at the pool and are available for a fee at the beach (via local providers). Pool towels are provided free of charge. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel property.

The light-filled "Casa Studios" located in the Casa Adele area are situated on the ground, 1st, or 2nd floor. The generous "Apartments 2 Bedroom," located in the Casa Adele area, are situated on the ground or 2nd floor. Loft Maisonette 1 Bedroom

The luxurious "Loft Maisonette 1 Bedroom" rooms are split over two levels and located in the Villa Adele area on the 1st or 2nd floor. They are equipped with a combined living/sleeping area with two single beds, two LCD satellite TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi, a dining area with a kitchenette, a refrigerator, and coffee/tea-making facilities. They also feature a safe, a separate bedroom with double or single beds, a bathroom with a bathtub/WC, an additional bathroom with a shower/WC and hairdryer, and a terrace with garden views (TM2).

Maisonette 1 Bedroom Swim Up

The "Maisonette 1 Bedroom Swim Up" rooms are located on the ground floor in the Villa Adele section. With otherwise identical amenities to the "Loft Maisonette 1 BR," they include a terrace with direct access to the pool (2MM).
The swim-up pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for careful conduct and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for young children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booked into these room types.

Casa Family 1 Bedroom

The spacious "Casa Family" apartments are located in the Casa Adele area on the ground, 1st, or 2nd floor. They are equipped with a combined living/sleeping area with two single beds, satellite TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, a dining area with a kitchenette, a refrigerator, and coffee/tea-making facilities. They also feature a safe, a separate bedroom with double or single beds, a bathroom with a shower/WC and hairdryer, and a balcony or terrace with garden views (2FS).

Destination information (Climate Resilience Tax)

For stays starting from Jan 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience tax, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a local tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is scaled from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per room per day starting from Jan 1, 2025.
For stays in the high season (April 1 to October 31):
