The modern Jo An Palace hotel is located directly in the town centre of Rethymnon and is approximately 1 km from the sandy beach. Numerous shopping and entertainment options are available in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. It is approximately 85 km to Heraklion airport and approximately 75 km to Chania airport.

Note on climate resilience fee

For stays from 1 January 2018, the Greek government has introduced a climate resilience fee, to be paid by the guest locally, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is staggered from 1 January 2025 at between 0.50 Euro and 15 Euro per day and room.
