Location

This wonderful 3-star hotel is situated in the idyllic landscape of Rethymnon on the shore of the Cretan Sea, surrounded by the beautiful old town of Rethymnon. The impressive influence of various cultures is still palpable in the old town, e.g., in the magnificent Fortezza castle or the picturesque harbor. The Ideon Hotel is located approx. 500 m from the beach and about 200 m to the nearest shops. The wonderful sights and attractions of the city of Rethymnon can be reached from the hotel in just a few minutes. The nearest airport (CHQ) is approx. 67 km away. Heraklion Airport (HER) is approx. 80 km away.

It is equipped with a reception, a lobby with a bar, an elevator, a safe (for a fee), a parking lot (free of charge), and a currency exchange facility. Information on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01/01/2018 onwards, the Greek government charges a climate resilience levy, which is to be paid by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and ranges from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day per room from 01/01/2025 onwards.
