Destination information: Climate Resilience Tax

For stays starting from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience tax, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a local tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and, as of January 1, 2025, ranges from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per room per day.
For stays during the high season (April 1 to October 31):
