The family-run Katrin Hotel is located only approx. 250m from the beautiful sandy beach of Stalis (separated only by a coastal road) and approx. 200m from the centre. Chersonissos town centre with its numerous shops and entertainment venues is approx. 4km away, and a local bus stop is approx. 150m away. Heraklion Airport is approx. 30km away.

The schauinsland-reisen Original Hotel has 118 accommodation units, spread across a main building and several annexes. Amenities include a lobby with reception (24h), lounge, Wi-Fi in all public areas (included), the main bar "Dionissos", and the buffet restaurant "Ambrosia". The outdoor area offers various pool areas with an activity pool with a separate children's splash pool and, in the adult area (18+), a relaxation pool and a jacuzzi, various sun terraces with loungers and umbrellas (included), and the pool bars "Posidon" and "Sunshine". For Summer 2024, further parts of the outdoor area have been modernized and re-furnished, and the main bar and main restaurant have also been modernized. Bath towels are available for a fee. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available on the beach for a fee.

These double rooms are located in the annex buildings, have been renovated, and feature a walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, toiletries, individually controlled air conditioning, Wi-Fi, smart TV, telephone, mini-fridge, safety deposit box (rental fee), and a newly furnished balcony or terrace (DA).

Superior Double Room

The Superior Double Rooms are located in the main building and feature a walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, toiletries, individually controlled air conditioning, Wi-Fi, smart TV, telephone, mini-fridge, safety deposit box (rental fee), and a newly furnished balcony or terrace (DSU/SSX).
Optionally for single use (DSE/DAE) or as a Superior economy room (2US).

Superior Double Room with Whirlpool

With otherwise the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, these have been renovated, are located in the annex buildings, and additionally feature a ceiling fan and a whirlpool (J2N).
The whirlpool is not supervised by a lifeguard. Please therefore pay particular attention to your children when using this area and behave with caution.

With otherwise the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, these have been renovated, are located in the annex buildings, and additionally feature a ceiling fan and a plunge pool (DPL/DAB).
The plunge pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. Please therefore pay particular attention to your children when using this area and behave with caution.

Family Room

These rooms are predominantly located in the annex buildings, have been renovated, and feature a walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, toiletries, individually controlled air conditioning, Wi-Fi, 2 smart TVs, telephone, mini-fridge, safety deposit box (rental fee), a combined living/sleeping area (open plan) with an additional bunk bed, and a newly furnished balcony or terrace (DF2/JSF).

With the same amenities and size as the Family Suite, the Superior Family Suite offers sleeping accommodations for up to 3 people in the separate bedroom (2FF).

Soft drinks, beer, and table wine are included with meals. Local non-alcoholic drinks and selected local alcoholic drinks (beer, wine, ouzo, brandy, and raki) are included at the open bar from 11 AM to 11 PM. Note on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which is to be paid by the guest on site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from January 1, 2025, will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room.
