The Hotel Olympion Melathron is located in the town of Platamonas and is approximately 100 m from the beach. The town of Platamonas offers you shopping and entertainment options. Nearby is the Crusader castle, known as the fortress of Platamonas, which offers majestic views of the Aegean Sea and the surrounding area, and hosts a wealth of cultural events. The airport is 110 km away.

The hotel, partially renovated in winter 24/25, features 87 rooms, a lobby with 24-hour reception, a TV lounge, a main restaurant, an à-la-carte restaurant, and a bar. Wi-Fi is included throughout the hotel. In the outdoor area, there is a beautiful garden with a sun terrace and a pool (11 a.m. - 7 p.m.) with a snack/pool bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at the pool and available for a fee at the beach.

Breakfast and dinner served as a buffet.
In the main restaurant with a terrace, a continental breakfast buffet is offered from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. For dinner, there is a buffet from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. featuring 3 main courses as well as appetizers and desserts.
An earlier or later breakfast is available upon request. Children's meals and vegetarian dishes are also available.
Packed lunches are available upon request (please register one day in advance).

The All Inclusive program is valid from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Breakfast is a continental buffet (7:30 a.m. - 10 a.m.).
Lunch is a continental buffet and dinner is a 3-course buffet (6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.).
Drinks (10 a.m. - 10 p.m.) include soft drinks, juices, coffee, tea, local draft beer, house wine (red, white, and rosé), local spirits (brandy, ouzo), and international alcoholic beverages (vodka, gin, rum, tequila, whisky, vermouth), long drinks, and cocktails.

Sports for a fee

Water sports (by an external third-party provider): Scuba diving, water skiing, jet skiing, parasailing, pedal boats, canoes, windsurfing, banana boat rides.

Climate resilience tax note

For stays from January 1st, 2018, the Greek government has introduced a climate resilience tax, which is to be paid by the guest on site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is staggered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room starting January 1st, 2025.
