Location

The hotel is situated in a quiet area of Kolymbia. The beach can be reached after a walk of approx. 350 m. Tavernas and shops are located in the immediate vicinity and are within easy walking distance. Rhodes town is approx. 23 km away. Public buses run to Rhodes town and Faliraki, and there is a bus stop near the hotel. The distance to the airport is approx. 30 km.

Facilities

The family-friendly complex has a total of 162 rooms and consists of a main building and three annexes, all surrounded by a beautifully landscaped garden. Amenities include a reception, lobby, as well as the main restaurant "Elia" with show cooking and an inviting outdoor terrace. Wi-Fi is included throughout the hotel. In the well-maintained garden area, there is a freshwater swimming pool with a separate children's pool and water slides, as well as the pool/snack bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at the pool and available for a fee at the beach.

The double rooms are comfortably furnished and feature a double bed, bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, rental safe, Wi-Fi, refrigerator, air conditioning, kettle for coffee/tea preparation, and a furnished balcony or terrace (D).
Also optionally bookable as a Super Saver room (SSZ) or for single use, partly with a single bed (DE/DEA).

Large double room

Equipped like the double rooms, these rooms are more spacious and feature two double beds, bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, rental safe, Wi-Fi, refrigerator, air conditioning, kettle for coffee/tea preparation, and a furnished balcony or terrace (D4X).

Double room Superior renovated

The superior double rooms were renovated for summer 2026 with a more modern design, featuring a double bed, bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, rental safe, Wi-Fi, refrigerator, air conditioning, and a balcony or terrace (DSU/DSI).
Further amenities include bathrobes and slippers, a coffee and tea station replenished daily, and a Nespresso machine with 4 capsules provided daily.
Additionally, toiletries are provided in the bathroom for our guests.
Also optionally bookable with the same renovated facilities as a Promo room (2RP) or for single use (DSE/DAE).

Junior Suite Sharing Pool

With similarly modern furnishings, the junior suites are more spacious.
All junior suites are located on the ground floor and feature a double bed, two single beds, bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, bathrobes and slippers, telephone, satellite TV, rental safe, Wi-Fi, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, Nespresso machine with four capsules daily, air conditioning, and a terrace furnished with sun loungers and a parasol, with access to the sharing pool (bookable from 7 years, J2).
The pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased risk potential for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 7 years for bookings of these room types.

Family room Sharing Pool

The Family room Sharing Pool features the same amenities as the Junior Suite Sharing Pool (bookable from 7 years, F2H).
The pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased risk potential for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 7 years for bookings of these room types.

Note regarding climate resilience fee

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government has introduced a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a local tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per room per day from January 1, 2025.
