Location

The Blue Sea Island resort is ideal for families and couples of all ages. It is situated on the east coast of Rhodes, in Kolymbia, directly on a sand/pebble beach (bathing shoes recommended). The town center can be reached in 600 m. A bus stop is located in front of the hotel. The airport is 30 km away, and Rhodes Town is 27 km away.

Fully renovated in summer 2022, the resort offers stunning sea views and consists of two hotel areas (separated by a side road) with a total of 330 rooms spread over four floors. Amenities include an air-conditioned lobby with a 24-hour reception, a conference room, a main restaurant serving Greek and international cuisine, a "Food Court" with varied dining options (Italian, Greek, health food, patisserie), an à-la-carte restaurant, a bar with an outdoor terrace, and a mini-market. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the entire resort. The outdoor area features three swimming pools (two at the main building and one at the annex building). The swimming pool at the annex building includes a children's pool and an aquapark, sun terraces, and a pool/snack bar. Pool towels, sun loungers, and parasols are provided free of charge at the pool and beach. There is also a beach bar with a covered terrace.

Double room

All rooms feature a shower/WC, toiletries, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, kettle, tea and coffee set, refrigerator, telephone, safe, Wi-Fi, and a balcony or terrace (D/DR/KD).
Optionally bookable for single occupancy (DEA) or as a double room with side sea view (DMS).
Also bookable as a super saver room without balcony (SSZ).

Single room without balcony

The single rooms have the same facilities as the double rooms but are smaller and do not have a balcony (EO).

Double room Type A Annex

The double room Type A Annex has the same facilities as the double room and is located in the annex building directly by the aquapark (DA).

Double room Lagoon Sharing Pool

The Lagoon double rooms have the same facilities as the double rooms, are located directly by the sharing pool, and are bookable for guests aged 16 and over (LD2).
The pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.

Family room

These are more spacious and, in addition to the same facilities as the double rooms, feature a sofa bed (DF2/KD2).

Superior family room

These are even more spacious than the family rooms and feature an area separated by a sliding door and two sofa beds (F2U/F2K/F3K).
Optionally also bookable with a private pool (F2O).
The pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased potential hazard for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Junior suite

These have the same facilities as the double rooms, consist of a combined living/sleeping area with one double bed and one sofa bed, and are more spacious (JS2/KJ1).

All Inclusive

All meals in buffet form. A children's corner is available.
Early bird breakfast (5:30-7 a.m.) is possible upon request (registration required by 8 p.m. the previous day).
Gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian meals, and meals for special dietary needs are offered on-site free of charge upon request.
Appropriate "smart casual" attire is requested during meals. (Beachwear, sleeveless vests, and flip-flops are not permitted. Smart casual shorts are allowed for gentlemen.)

Destination information: Climate Resilience Fee

For stays starting from 01/01/2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience fee, payable by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax.
